Well... Brian made it to Rome (for the semester...) but his luggage is in GERMANY!!!! :lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:Whoops...

:woohoo:
I think the bug was an easy car to learn how to drive a stick. It was very forgiving.

OH GOOD....I'm glad you're at Doubletree too. We'll see you in passing at least. I will definitely keep you posted on all of our plans, just in case you want to stop by and say hello.

What time are you going to the port? Are you Platinum or do you have an assigned time? I don't know when we'll go. We're Platinum. I guess I'll have to call and see what time they open the doors for us.

We are Platinum and love that we don't have to schedule a time. When we are on vacation we like to be spontaneous because so much of our normal life is scheduled. We shall see....... :rotfl:

It's nice that you do that. I'm glad you're staying at Doubletree too. I'll keep you informed and you can do what you feel. Either way, we'll probably see you and Tom around. :goodvibes

Monica, I have a request.....could you please add another cruise to page one of the thread....me and John and Nana and Speed are on the Sept 7, 2012 eastern Canada cruise out of NYC. I'm so glad I still have that one to look forward to after Hawaii. Otherwise it's going to be really really hard to get off that boat after doing Hawaii for so many days. Thanks sweetie. :goodvibes

I learned and drove a bug too :)

We are thinking that might be a good car for Molly too (& Willie) not until her senior year - then she can be the school driver :)

So I started my new job on Thursday - a little bit of a rough start - I'm replacing a person who had 9 years in the job (not the best years) hence the change. More change pending the first of next week - then the dust will settle & I hope to have part time days :)

Waiting around for the "GAME" to start. Deb it will be like being together - watching the same thing at the same time :goodvibes

Happy Sunday!!

I spent most of this weekend out of the house....yesterday I went to the library, then stopped at Starbucks (spending about 1 hr sitting outside with a coffee & a book). A friend of mine is a Mary Kay consultant, so headed over there for a one-on-one (plus some good chat). I then picked up my friend Jennifer (from EBTA 2010 & who will be on Hawaii) from SSR & we headed over to MK with the quest of buying a shirt for Ian (for Pirate's night). Had to chose something not too scary & settled on a black shirt w/ a red Pirate Mickey head/cross bones). We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Kona Cafe & then had some Moscato wine with laughs back in her room.

Today I took her to Publix & then she treated me to lunch (went to Orlando Ale House)...got her back to her room with minutes to spare before NFL game 1 started.

I had intended to do some :laundy:, but my body over-ruled that and had me take a nap  Now, I'm :surfweb: and :happytv: for a bit. Still tired, so hope to be able to fall asleep at a decent time tonight.

:banana::banana: for the nap... I took one too... had to take nyquil last night and it wiped me out today... I guess that's what happens when you really don't need it anymore... Feeling better... my ears are still full, but i'm sure that will be over soon.

Waiting for freezing rain, but I have to get out and get the driveway shoveled tomorrow because there is a rumor of a big coastal storm for next weekend and i have to move the car so Jay can do the driveway.

Watching the game... trying not to cheer too loud, but cheering for both teams as I respect my Royal counterpart on the other coast too much!!! :cheer2::cheer2:

GO BIG BLUE!!!!!

(sorry Nan.. it was a very good game though... :thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2)

I'm at peace with whatever tomorrow may bring and have a plan for whatever happens. What makes all the difference is knowing that I'll have company going through this and we can support each other. Already making lunch plans. We'll get through it.

And on that note, I'm going to bed.

i'm sure that will be over soon. use a heating pad helps almost every time by laying on it with your ear.

and about that other coast. we in the south part usually don't root for Giants. but in this case, WE do. go gints.......

Holly - :grouphug::grouphug::hug::hug: Anxiously waiting for an update. Been sending prayers your way.:hug::grouphug::grouphug:

A bug is a great car to learn to drive on because you learn how to shift....then you can always drive an automatic too. I loved my bug. Molly (and Speed) will love it too I think.

YEAH about the new job. Sorry it's so rough in the beginning, but if it goes to Part Time, then it's worth it. That's exactly what you need. I hope it gets better fast.

What a game.....they were so closely matched and either team could have won. I was thinking about you Nana while I was watching it.
