Happy Sunday!!

I spent most of this weekend out of the house....yesterday I went to the library, then stopped at Starbucks (spending about 1 hr sitting outside with a coffee & a book). A friend of mine is a Mary Kay consultant, so headed over there for a one-on-one (plus some good chat). I then picked up my friend Jennifer (from EBTA 2010 & who will be on Hawaii) from SSR & we headed over to MK with the quest of buying a shirt for Ian (for Pirate's night). Had to chose something not too scary & settled on a black shirt w/ a red Pirate Mickey head/cross bones). We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Kona Cafe & then had some Moscato wine with laughs back in her room.

Today I took her to Publix & then she treated me to lunch (went to Orlando Ale House)...got her back to her room with minutes to spare before NFL game 1 started.

I had intended to do some , but my body over-ruled that and had me take a nap Now, I'm and for a bit. Still tired, so hope to be able to fall asleep at a decent time tonight.

I can't wait to be a Monica in one year when I move to Florida. You always have people to meet and places to go and things to do. That's what I want too.

for the nap... I took one too... had to take nyquil last night and it wiped me out today... I guess that's what happens when you really don't need it anymore... Feeling better... my ears are still full, but i'm sure that will be over soon.

Waiting for freezing rain, but I have to get out and get the driveway shoveled tomorrow because there is a rumor of a big coastal storm for next weekend and i have to move the car so Jay can do the driveway.

Watching the game... trying not to cheer too loud, but cheering for both teams as I respect my Royal counterpart on the other coast too much!!!

What a good game....even if we didn't win, it was still a good game. Of course, winning makes it even better!

I've run into a snafu for the family vacation......the plan was for me to use my timeshare time for the family to spend sometime there after we get off the cruise. Problem is there is NO availability!!

I went ahead and held a villa/condo type place at $99/night (which is a great deal) but we were hoping not to have to shell out any more $ (after the $ for the dues I just spent). UGH!!

Will have to share this with my sister tonight (or tomorrow).

i'm sure that will be over soon. use a heating pad helps almost every time by laying on it with your ear.

and about that other coast. we in the south part usually don't root for Giants. but in this case, WE do. go gints.......

OH NO....so sorry. Who needs the added expense at the last minute. Especially an unanticipated one. I hope your sister doesn't get too upset about it.

I'm not 100% sold on any of these cruises....BUT, having said THAT...I will at least hold a room on the 7/13 Eastern Med cruise w/ Greek Isles. There are 5 ports of call that I have not been too, so that works well. The bad thing is that it's in the middle of summer (ugh).

I would prefer Venice & Greece together in 1 cruise (as other cruise lines seem to do) but oh well...again DCL didn't ask me for my opinion

Bit that really sucks is that there isn't anything posted for the Magic Sept-on. I figure she'll be doing dry dock, but I wish they had announced everything together.

Any thoughts that she may stay in MED for the winter? (which doesn't make sense since most other cruise lines send their ships to the Caribbean for the winter) because i want to do a WBTA.....

Just checking it to see if there have been any updates to Holly's situation. I don't see anything, so I'm going to assume no news is good news!

I'm feeling pretty mixed about the new itineraries. I would LOVE to do an Eastbound PC trip, having done 2 WB ones already but we already have 2 cruised this year (Fantasy MV and Alaska on Aug. 6) so I can't see adding in another one, especially since, starting in September we'll have TWO college tuition bills to pay! Something tells me we're going to have to lay off the cruising for awhile, at least I guess I'll have to live vicariously through you all .
