Are you around to talk with me tomorrow on the job stuff? I'd love to have a devil's adovcate and you are kinds devilly

I'm around all day, cooking but around. If you call, call the land line, not the cell because I don't get a signal in my house.

Forgot to mention, last Friday I was able to wear a pear of jeans to work that I haven't been able to even zip for a very long time. :thumbsup2 My weigh in yesterday was 11 pounds down, and I can finally see a difference in how my clothes fit. I'm wearing a shirt today that I haven't been able to wear in a very long time because it was tight and would show my belly rolls. It now hangs the way it should. :thumbsup2 :yay:

:thumbsup2

Hey boy, thought you were going to the movies?

Dianne called last night, her girlfriend cancelled their Thanksgiving dinner (the mom is sick), so she's bummin'. I told her to jump on a plane and come on out, but I don't think that will be happening.

I'm hoping for early release tomorrow and VERY early release on Friday...we'll see what happens.

Nan, hope you get the offer and have two jobs to choose from! :thumbsup2

Holly, great job on the weight loss....I'm at day two of bringing my lunch to work. It's a start!

This is our Thanksgiving meal. We leave there and head to Auburn for the game on Friday. Then fly out Friday night to Florida and cruise on Sunday followed by a couple of days at WDW then to Birmingham for a couple of days. I then get 3 days at home before heading to NC to visit family for a few days(trying to keep them from coming to my house for Christmas). Then home to try and enjoy a few days before Christmas. How much longer to 2010???:rotfl2:

Woohoo, well done Holly!!!

All my ranches? On CountryLife? I think I only have one........unless I'm confused. :confused3

I meant yours and Nan's ranches!!

got the email for a call back interview on the other job. I'm going over there @ 5pm. Now perhaps my concern comes into play. Do I want a part-time contract job with high stress or a full-time employee job low stress :confused3 I'm leaning toward the FT job - but I have to be interviewed and offered it of course and then I'd have to leave the contract that I've already started working on :rolleyes1 not the easy part:mad:

thank you I hate the blame :rotfl2: now go feed your cow some clover. I'm saving for that bee hive

got to go and get my clover I hope it didn't spoil yet

It will be great if you are offered the FT job, but as you say then you have to make a decision. All the best!!

The bee hive is fun and clever.

I haven't noticed any crops dying, unlike FarmVille!

I bought a sheep in Countrylife, but only harvested wheat today. You feed the sheep and it grows a fleece!!! So cute. Then you find a neatly tied bundle by it's side ready to sell. I think it is so funny.

Dianne is welcome to come to Eastwood Manor! She shouldn't be all on her own.

Thanks Marilyn, ::yes:: I like the graphics on this game cute :upsidedow

Dianne is welcome to come to Eastwood Manor! She shouldn't be all on her own.

Lucky Ducky she could go this year and give us all the lay of the land for next year :thumbsup2 Kinda like a scouting agent for the good seats ;):lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao:

Hi Friends....Gobble Gobble....Turkey's coming. I love Turkey day. I love Turkey and all the trimmings and being with family and friends....well next year, this year it's just me and John with the kid and Ray.

I'm feeling washed out and exhausted. I can't stay awake. I don't know if I'm coming down with a bug or doing too much without steroids....I've been pushing myself on the exercise bike and using bottles of water as weights doing extra arm exercises. I'm not sure what it is but I just wish it would go away.

Shell, I'm still coming to lunch with you and Barb and Deb. Nothing could keep me away. Besides, I don't feel sick....just tired.

Ian, I used to get the job of polishing the silver every year at mom's house. The last year that she cooked we got that tray that you put in the sink with hot water and I think some baking powder. All the silverware got done all together and very quickly. It really works. I wonder where that silverware set is now. I'll have to ask my brother since he cleared out the house because I could not.

Nan, go with your gut. I know you have already done all the pros and cons. Now just sleep on it and then you'll know what to do. It sounds like you're leaning toward the full time job. That's probably very wise in this job climate.

AND WHERE IS MONICA??????????????? I hope she is ok. I know she was having migrains again.

Holly, awesome job getting right back on program again. At least you know what works and any time you stray, you can come right back and make it work again.

Jackie, you too. So happy to hear that you're brown bagging some healthy choices for lunch. Also, I hope Dianne decides to attend the Eastwood Manor Extravaganza for Turkey dinner. She'll have a lot of fun and good laughs. Did you hear our table on the Tortola cruise? Ian says it's tenfold at Turkey dinner.

Gydell, WOW....do you ever stay home? It sounds like such a good time. I'm so jealous. Enjoy your delicious dinner.

Shannon, I'm so glad the girls love soccer and that you have found a way to get your exercise in too while watching.

Marilyn, I'm glad you got on the case. It makes it so interesting. Sorry that it's such a bad crime. Remember to have an open mind before judging.

Kaz, it's going to be so worth it when all the work at home is done. It teaches you to have patience until then.

Kathe, where are you? It's been a couple of days. I bet you're really busy with work and home.

Deborah, I know you won't read this until you get back home. By then we'll have already had our luncheon meeting. I'm sure it will be a good time and I can't wait.

Hi Bubba, Hi V......Happy Gobble Gobble day. What are your plans? Where are you going to eat Tom?

Speaking of Tom, I used to always tease him as a kid that we were going to have him for dinner on Turkey day. He knew that I was kidding, but he used to get so flustered. haha. Sandi says he's doing well now. He's working as a travelling salesman. I'm not sure what that involves. I'll get more details in January when we see Sandi before our cruise. At least Tom has a job. Sandi says he loves it. I hope it lasts.

OMG people....I'm cruising in a little more than one month. I'm already packed and ready to go and I can't wait....to be in my favorite place in the whole wide world.....5122.

Well I'm one pound up from my last weight before Godiva chocolate cake and birthday week. That's not so bad. It was worth it. I'm back on program, strictly sticking to eating good points. It'll come right back off again except that Turkey Day is the day before weigh in. That's not so good. But I'll be very careful about what I eat and how much I eat. We won't have any leftovers since we're going out so that's a plus. If I gain another pound it'll be ok. It'll come right off the following week. It comes off a lot faster with exercising so I'm not worried.

The hardest part about losing weight is that I never know what size I am anymore. But as long as the sizes keep going down, I can deal. :hippie::hippie::hippie:

I just watched the Eastwood Manor - Polishing the Silver video. OMG I laughed so hard. I told John he HAS to see it. He said he'll check it out tomorrow. He's down for the night already tonight. He gets up at 5:00 am so he turns in early. Thanks Ian for doing this and sharing it with us. It's the next best thing to being there.

Nan, by now you should be getting out of your interview. I'm sure it went well. I thought about it for you and I would take the road less stressful. That's the FT job that you just interviewed for right? Less stress and a steady paycheck will go a long way. Whatever you decide, I'm sure it will be the right choice for you and the family. Good Luck!

Is anyone having problems with FB lately? For the past few days, everytime I click on something it says....Ooopppsss Error. I gave up.

Thank you!

Keep up the good work of taking your lunch to work, that makes such a big difference I've found. :thumbsup2

Wow, what a whirlwind! Sounds exhausting, but fun! :goodvibes

Deb, what a wonderful problem to have! I can't wait to reach a point where I need smaller clothes. :thumbsup2 Don't worry about your point up and Turkey Day, you're always great about getting right back on track, so it will be gone right away. :goodvibes

Holly you will get there and it won't be long now. I can tell you that without the activity it's slow and steady. But with the activity added it's easier and faster. The real difference between me and everyone else is that I don't go out much. So if it's not in the house and I'm not going out....I can only eat what's here. Then if you add the fact that I didn't do any activity for the past 7 years and have just recently started....that also makes a big difference for me.
