Hi Monica, how are you? have not heard from you for a while...

Ian - are you guys having bad weather right now? I've heard of many delays in/out of the airports.

I'm heading off to a Christmas Eve service tonight, then to the movie theatre tomorrow (probably see 2 movies) then dinner with Will/Mickey & Momma Boyd (Mick's mom).

I CAN'T WAIT....until tonight. I want to rip at those presents and watch John and the kid open theirs.

Tomorrow we're going out to dinner with Ray. Saturday we're going to Long Island to see cousins that I grew up with around the corner from me.....so we're very close. We're staying overnight and on Sunday we're going to see my uncle....mom's bro. It's going to be hectic, but so worth it to be with some favorite family members.

HA HA lock out in bathroom oh sh sh sh no more ... ha ha

Oh, I'm so glad to hear this. I'm looking forward to seeing it on the Wonder in two weeks. WOOHOO!!! I'm so ready for this cruise. We're on the countdown....just 2 more weeks.

Deborah, traditionally we open our presents on Christmas eve. My mom started it way back when me and my brother were little. She would put us to sleep and then finish all the wrapping. Then at midnight she would wake us up and tell us that Santa had come. We would wake up in the middle of the night and it was magical. We have been doing that my whole life. I'm not stopping now.

Mom said she did it so that she could sleep late in the morning. She knew that we would get up and go play with our stuff and let her stay in bed. My mother was a very smart lady.

Me too....I'm sitting here reading "The Boleyn Inheritance", the DIS, FB & my emails.

Have been here (logged in) since 830am and have had 1 phone call -- it's going to be a loooooooooooooooooooong day (I'm here until 530pm)

because I always open on 25th Dec since I was little right through that why I passed over to my kids to open on 25th Dec every year...

btw... I think I had the traditional "Federal Holiday" Breakfast today of Stouffers Mac & Cheese...

It was rather... Federal... ish... sort of...

Ok... it was warm and mushy and I just might follow it up with a traditional plate of whatever I can find in the fridge later...

when I was little we had presents the 25th in the morning....followed 6 nights later with something from the 3 Kings.

Later on, we had our stockings the evening of the 24th then gifts the next morning. Later still we did everything on the 24th....also to be able to sleep in
