Another weigh in day...it doesn't matter if I'm up or down because I'm fluctuating all over the charts. (Up 2lbs last week and down 4lbs this week.) But I'm close to half way till my next goal at 25 pound increments. YEAH....so overall it's working.

I spent this morning sitting in a meeting that started 45min early. I hate when they do that, the big meetings always start early or late, never on time. And then it took 2 hours and really should have been about 30min for the amount of new information that came out of it. Oh well, they pay me whether I'm being effectively used or not.

Deb - sounds like you'll be busy for the next few weeks. I suggest eating garlic to keep the germs away. Eat lots and you'll keep the people (& their germs) away!

Well... this thread started long before I signed on... I'm sure that by the time we all sail... it will either gel or we'll be the Hatfields and the McCoys... (we'll be better dressed though... )

I am sad to say that I've masterd the art of maintaining. Unfortunately, I'm supposed to still be losing. I need to get more careful with the food, and more consistent with the exercise. I know I'm capable of doing it, I just have to actually do it!

Holly, you survived your first week without Tyler. It went fast. When do you get him back again?

Oh, I knew I'd actually enjoy this week and was looking forward to it! I hate to sound bad, but it's true. I'll pick him up Sunday at 5pm. I'm sure I'll be ready by then. And we have lots of Halloween related activities planned for next weekend. ​

I'm sure you guys already know this, but here's a bit copied and pasted from, one I got from my TA today (they're confirming that everybody waitlisted for the first Dream cruise still wants to be waitlisted):

"On Thursday, October 29, 2009, Disney Cruise Line will host a special event in New York City, where they will "reveal" key elements of the Disney Dream, which will take the magic that has made Disney the leader in family cruises for the last decade to new levels. The invitation list for this event is extremely limited and I am honored to have been included. In the next week or two we will be sending you a link with directions as to how you can view the event online as it takes place.

Based on past history, we believe that the Disney Dream may open for booking within a few days to a week after that event."

1. Meat is prepared exactly once a year in this house.
2. If we do so it will not be something crammeed in and fed drugs
3. I won't further add to the demise of this country and lcoal businesses by shopping in that store, which is why I buy from local shops and or farms.
4. There is no comparison in taste what so ever, a bit narrower in the difference between organic free-range and organic heritage free-range though

Thanks you two. I did look, but I didn't find anything. I wanted to know what Andrew Derek thought about it. We know it'll be doing the 3 and 4 night. Maybe I can book a B2B and make it a week.

I just asked Marla at DU to put me on a wait list. I'll send a fax to quality control at DCL too....just to cover all bases. Then I'll get on line when it opens up and pray to snag something. That's about all the bases I can cover. I do have AAA so I guess I could put them on the lookout too. Maybe someone will get me on that boat.

YES YES Let's Go!!! You can book up to 4 people or rooms. I just did it as a gold for Kathe, Monica and Ian to get on the 2011 first Alaskan. I transferred their dummy dates from onboard...no problem with DCL.

Send Sue Ellen an email requesting to be placed on a wait list. I'll fax your name with mine to DCL inventory control on Monday.

All we can do is try. I would love to sail with you again Lisa onboard the Dream. How fun!

Apparently the city is decorating again. I came home to find a new TREE in my yard....well, I guess the part where they put the tree actually belongs to the city because it's between the sidewalk and the road, but anyway, it's not every day you come home to a new tree!

Just back from at GREAT dinner with one of my childhood friends, Gina... sorry... we both forgot cameras... But we sat and visited for over 4 hours (went through 2 waitresses...) I met her fiance and my brother even stopped by for a beer... We're going to see if we can plan another meet next time when I am down - but with some extra friends along the way...

got my reunion in the AM and then I'm going to be driving home...

Working again this morning (Saturday) leading a meeting for a leader who wants to go home to Indianapolis because BOTH her parents are in the hospital.

It's not to bad, it's in a church right near my house, about 5 minutes away. The meeting is at 8:00, and I should be home by 9:30.

No plans for today. We have been trying to get our errands run during the week when I get home from work.

Only a few little things, I need to visit the butcher shop around the corner and see what they are going to be carrying. Then Sukie and I are having a chat to finalize the menu.

Not sure what else will be happening today. It seems it will be a nice crisp fall day. Maybe a drive is in order.

Headed out to the reunion in a few... should be home later tonight... those of us still home are joining each other on the Bendy thread at 8 PM to celebrate Bendy's Bday (there is a large group down there for F&W and the party down there is at the atrium at the BC villas just in case you are so inclined... just tell them you know Planky...)
