Good morning everybody!
I didn't make it onto here last night, and I see you I missed lots. Deb wants a Spyder, Holly wants a tattoo, and Nan's floor is wet!

It snowed yesterday and now its going to warm up for a couple days (supposed to be 17C tomorrow )

Hi Shannon, you got the jist of it all.

Was it your first snow fall of the season? Any accumulation?

We're all here for you because we're all doing it too. Just be sensible and active on vacation. Start tracking and going to meetings when you get back. Put it into your head now, then stick to it.

I find WW works by planning ahead. Don't do anything spontaneous. Like Ian said, for the holidays pick priorities in advance and plan what you'll "cheat" with. If you keep it within weekly points and add activities, it's manageable.

Just ask and we will help in any way...especially our Leader and Guru, Ian. He's the best! He helps us the most!!!

Oh you definitely get way more than us. I love when it snows too, as long as I don't have to go out in it....and back up my driveway....especially if it's not plowed. Then I have to park at the bottom and walk up.

First snow in the mountains 10/15/09:

It's big and white and fluffy...not wet anymore and it's just starting to stick. We're going to get our first accumulation. It's supposed to go overnight into tomorrow and they said about 2 inches for my area...the lower altitudes of the Poconos. The higher altitudes are supposed to get 4-6 inches. Winter is here very early this year.

IT'S OFFICIAL....it's October 15th at 10:00 am and it's SNOWING! Not just flurries either. It's coming down pretty good, but it's heavy and wet so there's no accumulation yet.

It's usually just flurries for the first time and that's after Thanksgiving. It is early this year. It has been a wet spring and summer....why not fall and winter too.

At least you're feeling well enough to be off pain killers. That's a step up for you! Every season this year has had strange and unusual weather. This is just another one.

I have to go to Wayne for my college reunion and I'm staying in Mahwah with my brother and I'm meeting one of my childhood friends for dinner tomorrow... (lots of family gossip... )
