We are seriously reevaluating the cruises we've got booked, now that we have the B2B LA to Alaska booked.

I am fairly sure we will cancel the eastbound transatlantic, though I won't take any action until it's close to final payment. It's a pity too, because of the great rate we have, but I am so concerned about time off.

Sukie's daughter and grandkids want to come over in 2010 for a trip to WDW and I really don't have the time to take 2 weeks for cruise, then 2 weeks again in the fall. I have to prioritize, and the TA may need to go.

There are also things afoot with my company, and I don't know whether I can commit the resources to the cruise.

Company situation aside, it's so odd, because it's not a matter of resources, given that the cruises are so spread out it provides plenty of time to save, but more a matter of time.

Looking at it in terms of priorities, going to Europe via boat would be neat, but given that I'd have to fly back the day after, it's not that neat. The B2B would be higher on my list.

So sorry that you'll be forced to cancel. But really happy that you must because then you can book the 7 night western on 10/30/10 with me and John and Monica on her birthday. It'll be less time off. When does Sukie's daughter and grands get there? Maybe you can overlap them?:rolleyes1

Hey Deb, we both so want to do the B2B, but there is no way I can make it work. My job has to may deadlines built in. Between monthly statement due to the factory and payroll its a no go. Now the calling in sick, hum...dont think that would work, since I never call in sick so they would know something is up. And besides I'm way to vocal about our Disney trips. (I kind of have a rep if you know what I mean)

Monday I plan on moving our OBB from 08 to Alaska Aug 23rd. My plan is to take the train to seattle, drop in on Kaylee and Scott, then train to Vancouver and fly home at the end of cruise.

And good point about the extras on other lines, had not really thought about those.

Oh V, we are so going to miss you guys again. SAD. It SU C K S having to be so responsible when it cuts into your Mickey play time. But I fully understand and know that you can't bite the hand that feeds you.....especially when you need to talk about the trip plans all the time. I get it. I would say that you have earned your reputation and that you wear it well.;)

I'm sure that any vacation plans you make will be wonderful. Seeing Kaylee and Scott is a bonus! You will have an awesome time.

Right now I'm thinking that 2010 will be a cruiseless year for us. But on the other hand I'll have freed up vacation time. Although we probably wouldn't make the cruise we could time it so we are in WDW at the same time and have some overlap. That would be fun!

I have barely scratched the surface of the 17 billion photos from this past vacation, but I thought I'd post some important ones:

Sukie and I on Formal Night

Sukie and I on Semi-Formal Night (unfortunately no photo of us with the rear (so to speak) of the fezzes)

The repo and Alaska! That is what you're doing isn't it?

YEAHHHHHHH!!!!!! Yes, we are doing the west coast repo and the first Alaska. So glad you'll be onboard. Did you get the same stateroom for both cruises? We're in 5122 both times. I'm happy.:cutie:

I love them all....but I would use the last one as the front of the Hanukkah cards this year.

Hey Bubba, DCL's not going to Glacier Bay so that counts....but I'm in a cat 6 SR 5122.....my home.....and the 7 nighter is $3950. A $650 difference, but I do remember Kaylee saying how annoying those additional charges onboard are. I don't know how much of a difference it is when you add those.:confused3

At least you have options and you should consider everything. I hate that you and V can't go with us. There's just no way right? It's V's job or something? Maybe she could call in very sick for those weeks?:confused3

We could write you a note... my mother's going to need a traveling companion... (well... technically...:rotfl:) Bubba... You'll have to fight Sukie for it....

YES we do!!!!

Deb... weather tonight is muggy only going into the 60's... but it's supposed to get cooler next week... only in the 60's up here so you will be a few degrees warmer... :thumbsup2

No snow yet... ;)

Only you two could carry that off... (love the tails... :thumbsup2)

So do you guys have any pictures from your dining table?

Just because we miss you Nan....John made this door sign for your next cruise.

I'll bet she's good too with a keg of rum like they do in the alps... ;)

Hey -

Now that Nan's a dog...does this mean she's not allowed to bite on Mondays either???
