Last weekend John and I tried on all of our cruise clothes that were still in our suitcases. We just wash them, fold them and put them back. John stayed the same size. I had some tops, bathing suit tops and dresses that were too big. Just goes to show I lost the most amount of weight on the top and not the bottom. Oh well.

Fortunately I still have some clothes in smaller sizes. So I pulled those out and I'm good to go.

Good luck today! I've never had a cast, so I have no idea what its like to get one put on. Hopefully it won't be too rough.

I started reading the Twilight book last weekend, and book 1 was good, on Tuesday I read book 2 (woke up in the night and ended up reading for a couple hours) and today I got book 3. A few of the ladies at work have read them, so they are passing them around. Next week book 4 should be available. Jackie, I think you mentioned reading them before, what did you think of the movie? is it worth renting?

Yes, rent the movie, it's enjoyable. I actually saw it twice, which I often do when a movie is based on a book I've read. The first time I'm just doing constant comparisons with the book, then I like to go back (if it was any good) and watch it for it's own value.

The second movie comes out this fall...I think in November.

You're so right Michelle. It's two weeks until we leave for vacation heading to the Tortola cruise. I've got laundry to do and packing, the Champagne Girls tasting to set up, the FE gifts, the pre-cruise dinner at Fishlips to arrange and all those lists to get done....I'm a busy girl!

No matter what this is home to me and like Holly I will NEVER leave. Just a little busy. Will be back tenfold after cruise and show you all my pictures.

I always bring Jeremy... 6 surgeries and every time when I was in recovery mom would bring him in and he would lay next to me on the bed so I wouldn't be alone... when mom was rushed to the hospital in March, she took another one of my puppies, Cocoa and it was nice the next day in the room (I was so scared that she wasn't going to make it...) to find him laying on the bed with her...

I have realized that why I don't post them here, it's a PIA. I post all the time on FB, one step, here, have to download to PB then post here, too much work

I think it has to do with that dastardly thread 13 coming back to haunt us... I knew nothing good could come of a thread 13 ...

Well, I think it's because Gaylean isn't here much anymore, and almost everybody else has shifted over to Facebook more. And since I finally got used to FB, that eliminates tons of posts here! LOL! But I've been trying to come back here more. It's like home for me.

My life is a little uninteresting at the moment!!! I could bore you with our extension and stress inducing effects from that just before our vacation.

I'm usually not a worrier (except when it involves Tyler), but all the strange skin issues I've been having me are kind of worrying me. I can't help but wonder if they're all related to one cause. I have no idea what that might be, but I've never had any of these strange things before, and for them to keep showing up little by little, it just makes me wonder. The stuff I described before, patches on my face that look like eczema, then the flaking, dry, cracking skin on my whole eyelids, then it spread to the lower lids, then growths started showing up on the eyelids like skin tags (2 on one lid, 1 on the other eyelid, a new one today on a lower lid), then on down to my lips, just above the top lip and right under the lower lip is scaley, then the strange patches on the upper chest, then the shaving cut not healing without antibiotics (and I've since had a 2nd shaving cut that is now very infected), and the almost plate sized bruise on my leg when I used to not bruise easily and certainly never more than maybe a quarter size bruise. I find myself wondering if the tiredness is related too.

Or......perhaps it's just coincidence and normal stuff due to getting older.

I have a doctor appointment tomorrow morning for completely unrelated stuff (annual yucky exam), and I'm going to show her all of these things and ask her if I should be worried or ask her if I need to go to a dermatologist for some kind of special lotion. I guess I just need people to say, Oh, quit whining, no reasons to worry.

Thanks Shannon. Silly to worry. I'm off to harvest my raspberries and plant something to harvest after work tomorrow because I know my day at work will be too busy to farm all day like I did today! LOL! But I couldn't mention that over there in case my coworker sees it!
