Well... I posted it on FB and talked to those at the cater and cook party at Che Henzel....

We had to call it... it was getting crazy for all involved and I realized that I was pushing mom way too much more than for a regular trip. If it was just me, I would have tried - but usually I will bring her down a couple of days before so she can adjust to the heat, etc.

So... I'm here to bug the daylights out of all of you for the next week...

Planky, however is in mourning... (and had threatened to move into the next door neighbors shed until he realized that there was no cable out there... )

SO SO sorry to hear this Michelle. You and mom will certainly be missed. So will the rest of the Thieves. The Tortolians are nice enough but they are not family like all of you here.....some are not even wearing pink to the Champagne Girls....can you imagine! Then when we were trying to find a place to book onboard.....Peg suggested that we go take over a bar and drink champagne there....they just don't have a clue as to what it's all about. And I'm certainly going to miss Bubba showing up in his pink wig. This group just is NOT the same. We all KNEW how to have fun. This group, not so much. Oh well, at least we'll be with Captain Mickey!!!! I will miss you all and think of you often. Get ready for pictures. I can't wait to share.

Went to MK today, and guess who we saw? First it was Sukie and Jackie waiting patiently in the shade close to IASW, then of course along came Ian. Great to see them. Had a chat, then rode the Carousel with them before parting as we had a lunch booked at the Plaza.

MK was soooooooo quiet. I have never seen it so quiet. Still a lot of children who should be in school though.

Now now don't slam the Tortolians. It's a nice group. And the cruise is only 1 week, so not as much of a big deal for some as the 2 weeks we had on repo.

Just kidding. You are right that each DIS bunch has it's own flair. This one seems to have a "family" stickingness to it that I have not see with other groups. I guess that is good and bad just like family right

2 more days for me. I had that I don't want to go feeling last night. I never like to fly and feel that way every trip. Oh well, time will continue until I leave and then it's too late not to go

Hi Marilyn....are you having fun? We're in Hilton Head SC. We'll be in Cocoa Beach tomorrow.

We just did some sunning and drinking by the pool and came back to the room to get out of the sun in the heat of the day. Beautiful weather we're having. Let's hope it holds.

Well... the semi surprise that I was gonna pull on everyone at the cruise (not a big one...) (other than showing up... yeah... I was planning on meeting Nan at the airport with Monica...) is that I cut my hair SHORT last week... kind of short... collar length...

I had wanted to try and see what it would look like long and I grew it out mid shoulder length... and it was horrible...

I walked into my hair dresser to get my roots done and I guess I had that "CUT IT OFF" look on my face... Kim did a great job and as soon as I take a shower and see if I can get it to style... I'll post a picture...

(I wanted to take Bubba's picture in with the Mickey shaved into the back of his head to show Kim what I wanted..... but I thought that was a bit extreme...)

I don't think so. We didn't ride today - John's nightmare ride, so only undertaken very rarely!!! I will take note when next we do.
