How are the kids liking being back at school?

The girls were excited today. I find it funny, that the kids were excited yesterday that the weekend was ending, and they were getting ready for school and daycare. Both Ken and I didn't want the weekend to end.

Shaelyn starts grade 3; although when I called her my big grade 3 kid this morning, she told me she's not a grade 3 kid until school actually starts. Ken walked her to school today. Ken has taken Shaelyn to the first day of school every year, and always takes pictures.

Kaleigh still has another year before she starts school, but after a summer away from daycare, she was very excited to be going back to daycare. She was the first one there today. She ended up getting her old spot back in the bootroom.

Both girls had new outfits today, and I took pictures this morning, so I'll have to figure out how to post those today, or it'll wait until Ken's home on Thursday.

And I should get off here and get back to work

I've missed you Deborah

Nice to see you got the doggies for the weekend.

I have made a nice plan to have our dog Casey's dog daughter, Kelsey, join our kids for their Xmas photo. Won't be the same as Casey, but she acts just like her. (looks like her dad) The little boy that we decided to breed Casey for (every boy needs a dog) has gone off to college last month. Can't believe how time flies...

I'm here until Friday, early flight 6:15am. Almost all packed need to ty on some dresses and decide and shoes and swimsuit, that I should toss in now and not forget Can't wait to see the gang, but I will miss those of you who are there

I miss you and other which I met on Panama Canal Cruise.....

I don't think it will be same again for next cruise...

Two dogs are so beautiful as only 11 months old and I now missed them as the house seem quietly now...

We suppose to look after two dogs next year July for two weeks but we cancel it as Keith was terrified of them as one of them always jumping up and down without stop... Keith was frighting of it which is a great shame...

If I have not book New York, I would have come to this Cruise on Sat with friend but I cannot afford both so one day we will meet...

Have a lovely times and enjoy the fun....

PS I might watch it on internet on Saturday and try to wave me wink...

This weekend I am staying in on Sat and Sun, I need REST...

Olivia enjoyed the primary school of 5/6

Keith started High School and enjoyed it very much and love it...

They were back to school last month 19th August and I am concern about Olivia's class as 5/6 as 6 start french classes which will be difficult for her to learn different langauges as her first bsl with english? I will find out about it...

My brother in law got home from Canada last week over difficult to get VISA. which is a great shame...

What is first langauges for Canada? Is it french? as I thought USA but my friend said it is french? Is she right or wrong

What is first langauges for Canada? Is it french? as I thought USA but my friend said it is french? Is she right or wrong

Canada has 2 official languages: English and French.
Our English is a cross-between England English and American English. Most of our spellings are English (colour vs American's color).
Anything to do with our federal gov't is done in both English and French.

The province of Quebec is mostly French speaking.
I live in British Columbia which is officially English speaking.
French was mandatory up to Grade 8, and I actually took it right through grade 12 and used to speak/read it half decently. But then I went to Holland for a year, and as I learned Dutch, I forgot most of my conversational French. My brain couldn't handle it all. But I can sing one childrens song in all 3 languages: Frere Jacque (french), Brother John (English) and Vader Jacob (Dutch). The kids think its funny. They also like it when I say the alphabet in Dutch.

Can you tell I'm feeling unmotivated at work, since that was a really long answer to a short question?

Just popping in to say hi. Nice to be warm(hot)at last. Been to DHS and Epcot today and hopefully going to DTD for a meal tonight, but it is raining at the moment so we will wait a while.

Oh Marilyn, I'm glad you can finally enjoy some warm weather and hope you have a wonderful trip!

Well... I posted it on FB and talked to those at the cater and cook party at Che Henzel....

We had to call it... it was getting crazy for all involved and I realized that I was pushing mom way too much more than for a regular trip. If it was just me, I would have tried - but usually I will bring her down a couple of days before so she can adjust to the heat, etc.

So... I'm here to bug the daylights out of all of you for the next week...

Planky, however is in mourning... (and had threatened to move into the next door neighbors shed until he realized that there was no cable out there... )
