Ian left him on the bus...

Or Ian got off the bus and thought Sukie was behind him...

I don't know...

But Sukie was looking at Ian's Phone so now Ian can't call him... without trying to find a payphone at Disneyworld (and the amount of money it will cost to call a CHICAGO number...)

They are at DTD on a Saturday night...

I do think we need to tag them with GPS chips...

Fortunately, they both know how to make it 'home' to the resort.

This is pretty funny, as I was just thinking today about making a plan for when we get separated on the NEXT trip. personally I worry about Cheri wandering off.........

Boy, do I miss checking in every day!! Hope everyone is doing well & that you all know I miss you loads!

Had my 1st towel animal waiting in the room today---figure my being sick threw things off a bit.

NCL's not bad - true, not Disney, but it's good to save $. Servers/room stewards don't seem AS friendly as on DCL but the room stewards are ok...those we have the same while the restaurant servers change.

My 1st experience w/ the medical staff (nurse came to see me on Wednesday)...and I've had a good experience w/ room service.

I think atleast 25-30 people have been sick - thankful that it wasn't just me Buffets are not buffets but that's ok.

Will try to spend a little bit of time here tonight...but these minutes sure do go quickly!

Tyler stayed up late so we could watch Beverly Hills Chihuahua. We both loved it! He barely made it through the movie though. He was leaning on me on the couch, half asleep. Oh well, at least I don't have to try to get him up for school tomorrow!

Well, we're bedded down for the night here. Ian & Sukie left this afternoon. I went out for a little while, walked around the neighborhood, got a broken nail fixed, had some dinner, then came back about 6. The doggies and I watched some TV and everything was fine. I took them out for a potty break, put them in their kennel and turned out the light, went downstairs, and after a minute or two heard this mournful little whimper coming from upstairs. I went back up, took them back outside for another break, bedded them down, went downstairs and yep, you guessed it...there it was again. I called Ian, we decided they were lonely and would be OK so I figured I'd just let them alone. BUT...after 15 minutes, the mournful whimper had become a mournful yip and howl. Sooooo, I found a pair of jeans near the hamper, took them upstairs and draped them over the doggies' kennel, and....I haven't heard a peep since! All is well...night night from Eastwood Manor!

You are such a good mama, and my experience as a girl scout leader is by far one of the best things in my life. I think you'll love it too. Then took 1st in his Heat Race

and then smoked everyone in the MAIN!!!!

We have had an AWESOME day.

Eastwood Manor/Truman and Talullah report update:

The weather was very nice today--the sun was out mostly, with some clouds blowing in and out, but no rain. The doggies and I had breakfast and spent a little time outside on the porch, as well as some snuggle time on the couch.

About 11 I set off for downtown. Sukie had given me good "El" training (no pun intended), and I got down to Michigan Ave. with no trouble. I found the Apple store, went inside, and drooled over the pretty shiny things inside, got a coffee and decided to head down to the Navy Pier. It was a great day to be down by the water! I did the tourist thing, then got myself home by bus and train. For a small town girl who has never lived anywhere with public transportation, I feel pretty proud of myself!

This evening the doggies and I watched a couple of movies. I put them to bed in their kennel with the jeans draped on top but tonight isn't going as well as last night. The whimpering started, so I swapped out the jeans for a pair of shorts that were on one of the chairs, hoping a fresh scent might do the trick. It's been mostly quiet, but there are still a couple of yips from time to time. I'm hoping my luck hasn't run out...

Good to hear from Kelly! Hope the "Brunch Bunch" has a great time tomorrow!

It's been quiet for the last 5 minutes...maybe I've dodged the bullet again!

I love the city! Having a great time here. As for sleeping on the floor, I was afraid my next move was going to be sleeping on the couch upstairs. Luckily it hasn't come to that....YET!
