I'm getting really pissed at Photobucket. Seems like I've been trying for a week to get my stupid stuff from the monster truck show uploaded. I give up. I'm too grumpy today to mess with it.

Well, I was busy reading to Tyler. He asked if we could go to the library today and he got a couple of Goosebumps DVDs and a Michigan Chillers book and a Goosebumps book. I read the first 8 chapters of the Goosebumps book: The Werewolf in the Living Room. I think I'll probably have nightmares tonight.

What's a gritter lorry??? I have never heard of it.

The mechanism distributes grit and salt along the icy/snowy roads.
If you happen to get up close or be on the other side of the road your car can be hit, sometimes quite hard if the gritter's settings are for spreading ove a wide area.! John doesn't like that.

We call them salt trucks.

OUr friends in Devon lost all the brand new specially made gutters on their house that they've been remodelling for 6 years! They got 2 feet of snow, and are expecting another foot!

I am exhausted.....

Remember I told you we were having a baby shower for MaryAnn.....well someone ran a red light and crashed into MaryAnn's car on her way tot the baby shower. She had her mom, who had just arrived from Trinadad, and her 5 year old daughter.

The ambulence took her to the hospital and they admitted her. She called me and begged me to come be with her....

So...I have been at the hospital all day....just got home...8:05pm.

She is okay but they are not sure about the baby. They are running a 24 hour test on her and they will decide if they will deliver her tomorrow. She is 36 weeks right now.

She told me the ambulence driver saud he would drop her off so she could open her presents and then take her to the hospital I guess he was trying to make her laugh....

Oh my gosh, I'm glad everybody's OK. I'm sure the baby is fine too, it has all that padding around it for protection.

Jon was trying to fix our scanner. That's why I was gone so long. It didn't work out though

I'm up again for a bit. Just got the legs out of the tub. I was soaking them in Epsom salt and water per the doctor's request. He said that will draw the fluids out and dry them up. So I gave it a try to help them along some more. All I have to say is OUCH!!!! My legs are stinging in pain right now. It must be working.

I have to tell you, even the infections on both legs look so much better. Partially because the antibiotics are working and partially because the swelling has decreased and so has the leaking. It's all good.

I know Epsom Salts work. I am sorry you have open sores, the salts must cause pain on them. I hope you can get your legs to "working order". So that you can do some walking. You know that will help your circulation, too.

I'm sure everything is fine. 36 weeks is a little early but OK. I hope everything is alright. I'm glad the ambulance driver calmed her down.
