The first song I heard on our cruise was "On my Way" from brother bear. I sing it all the time now and it reminds me of our cruise.

I think his name is going to be Stitch. Our other 2 cats are afraid of him and he is into everything. I think I just have a pullled muscle as I am doing better today. I callled into work since I am still in pain and would have to lift heavy boxes all day.

Our Siamese fighting fish is named Stitch. Whenever anything goes wrong it is Stitch's fault:lmao:

if the coffee is not made in the morning--it is because Stitch emptied the coffee filter, threw it away and poured the water out:rotfl:

if the coffee was made but the automatic timer not set, it is beause it was really set and Stitch came and pushed the button to turn it off :rotfl2:

he even loses mail so cards are not sent on time :confused3

So far he has not figured out how to undo bills paid on line--THANK GOODNESS!:thumbsup2

1955 porsche speedster:car:

Our friend in NY has some MGs. I don't know what they look like but he loves showing them off and taking them for drives in good weather.

He also is involved in a Steam Train club but I do not know if they have a web site and are open to the public like the one Tyler and Holly went to or if it is by invitation only.

I hope they are paying for a rental car.

Woody

Yep! I'm thinking about taking the rental car back (after I use the gas I paid for!) and getting a smaller one. I got a Pontiac Grand Prix and altough its a lovely ride, I miss not being able to zip in and out of those tight parking spots. So I'll probably downsize a bit.

You know, I hadn't thought about what I would do if they say the car is totalled. I don't want to go buy another car....I HATE car shopping. Especially as I'd probably be buying a used car....can't really do payments on a new one and WILL NOT lease any more. Well, I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Good morning everybody - I'm taking an early coffee break this morning. The power is going off from 9-3, so gotta do a bit of Dis'ing early. I hate being at work when they shut the power off. I work in an industrial plant in the lab, which is dead center of a building so no natural light and the emergency lighting only lasts for about 4 hours and is inadequate to actually work. We've stockpiled a few tasks that can be done with minimal light. Once the emergency lighting dies, then we go wonder looking for things to do.

Don't worry, just check in when you can. Don't you love how Wii asks you where you've been when you haven't been on in a while? I bet your legs are skinnier. Do they have something for the stomach? I have enough things to do for my legs, I need to lose 100 pounds from my belly and face.

I need to lose weight from everywhere, but mostly I want better stamina. I am still amused by the Wii's talking to me. I get annoyed by how it asks why your weight went up and then gives you a bunch of choices. But its missing the main choice of "eating crap". :lmao: I was happy yesterday that the boxing guy said "good job:thumbsup2 " instead of "you can do better than that". I find the hulahooping :goodvibes helps for the upper/side abs. In the strength exercises they have a couple of ab ones. The Plank is very hard for me and does all the core muscles. I'm pathetic and can't do the pushups yet. I tried and it told me I wasn't up to it yet. Doing the 2person running with Shaelyn (DD6) is funny, she kicks my butt, but my burn rate has improved from 47% up to a personal best of 94%!:cool1:

Whenever I told my mother I was bored, she'd tell me, "You're bored? Go bang your head in the wall, then you won't be bored."

Well, it was the early 1960's. Many of you older folks out there, just might remember the phrase, uttered by dare I say mothers all over the planet, for crying and tantrums for no good reason ... "Just stop that before I give you something to cry about."

Some things are universal and I find myself saying things my Mom used to say to me. My kids get told - "if you want to cry, I'll give something worth crying over".

I hope everybody else is having a great day!
Jackie - good luck with your insurance and finding a new car that makes you happy.

:hippie: Thanks to those of you who keep posting and keeping the thread alive:) . I enjoy reading what's happening in everybody's lives, even though I forget to comment on lots of it.

:3dglasses We bought the 3D glasses yesterday for the HannahMontana show that's on this weekend! Finally got to legitimately use this :3dglasses :3dglasses :3dglasses :3dglasses (we bought 4 pairs!)

Okay powers going down momentarily, better log off and get to work in the dark!

Hello Marilyn, Gaylean and Michelle

How are you all?

Michelle that is good about kidney stone.

I had very sore lower back and now very sore all round tummy and lower back, I had it for a week now. Tonight is worst, Ian tell me to phone dr tom morning. Too painful dont know if i have infection?:sad2:

Maybe I am getting old :rotfl:

I wiped out my memory card and glad got it back this morning. I found it and put it in my pictures. Phew. Lots of good photos as I didn't want to lose it again.

Scottishwee35:sick:
Deborah, I hope you go get that checked out by a doctor. We all want you to feel better! Glad you got your photos back! Scary. That happened to me on another cruise and I accidentally deleted 3 days. Could not get them back.

Michelle, sorry to hear you have ANOTHER kidney stone. Yikes! Take care of yourself, and I hope it passes quickly and with little pain.

Jill? Are you feeling better?

Just popping in quickly. VERY BUSY at work today. Tyler and I were too busy running around last night, when we got home I just went to bed same time as he did. Too tired to get on here last night.

Just so I make Jan happy... :flower3: Here's what I posted on the DCL pic of the day...

Cabo!!!

OOOOOOOhhh! Pretty!

Now, back to work I go.

Wasn't that just a beautiful day in Cabo? I think I took the most pictures there. I'd definately go back there for a vacation. :thumbsup2

time to head out.......
later kids!

.

No swimming Mickey on the 90 day out mark.

We were able to book our excursions with ease.

Also made Palo dinner, brunch, and high tea reservations all on the days and times we wanted.

Took all of ten minutes!
Well, that's great news! :goodvibes

That is exactly what she's going to do! We went to the Good Samaritan Village today and had a tour, and she was very impressed by it. I don't know why she was so negative about it a couple years ago.....I suppose it was a totally different situation...her health was much better.

Anyhoo.....they have these guest apartments which they rent for up to 3months at a time, also nightly. While we are on our cruise next week, she's going to stay in one to see how she likes the place. She met a few very nice people over there today. It's only 10 miles from my house!

There's an indoor pool, and outdoor pool, a golf course, shuffleboard courts, a huge community hall with a stage and a game room for cards and stuff. They have their own TV station. They have doctors and podiatrists come to the medical facilitly every week, so you don't even have to go to the dr. They a have a bus that takes people shopping etc.
Also there's a new Publix right next door and you can frive your golf cart right up to the store through the special gate!

Oh, my, I think I'LL move there! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Wow, that's really a cool place! I'd like to live there myself! :goodvibes

I remember it well!!!:lmao:

I had a sister and my mum used to say to us when we were arguing - 'I'll knock one of you down with the other if you don't give up!:rotfl:

Then there was the - 'I'll bang your heads together'!:lmao:
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Shannon, what's up with work turning off the power for so long?

Yay! Tyler's Bobby Banana book shipped today! That means it won't come before he goes to his dad's tomorrow, but that's OK. He'll have a nice surprise when he returns. :thumbsup2 It's killing me not telling him about it! I'm not good at keeping quiet.

I don't think my sister and I were bad at all, but I remember my dad saying things like 'I'll get the police to take you away' or 'I'll give you to the rag and bone man when he comes round'!!:scared1:

Need to add here I think. When I was very young there used to be men who came around collecting old clothes etc. I don't know where the bones came from though!!!:lmao: Perhaps it was all the children he had collected.

I think we would be taken into police custody these days as parents for saying these things!!!

Sukie talks about the rag and bone man. His parents threatened him with that too!

I'm feeling pretty good, still a bit achy in spots. I get to DIS a little longer this morning since I have my ultra sound today before work.

I took pictures of my car last night, and got my stuff out of it. I ended up taking everything out as they had put my car in the "Land of Lost Toys" section and I didn't want to have to go back there if the insurance decides that it's 'totaled'.

I played phone tag with the insurance guy all day yesterday, but am going to try calling him now (he works 5A-2p Pacific time), so I may get through this early.

Catch up with you all later......

.

We're relieved that you're better.

OK, probably won't be able to get back on here today. Super busy, plus after work we're doing lots of running around: occupational therapy (just received a whopping $800 bill....OUCH!), home for a quick supper, off to buy my new PDA that will also enable me to DIS when we're out too, where there's WiFi, to the public library so Tyler can get more books, and somewhere else, I just can't remember where. :thumbsup2

So when I tell my children that "I'm going to sell you to the gypsyies" then I'm right up there with the likes of the 60's mom ::yes::

Hello all. I've been around, but just reading. Work is crazy. We are getting a new automotive computer system installed. So been doing lots of training. We are going with a Canadian company, PBS, if any of my north of the boarder friends have heard of them.

If my mom had said this I think I would have been a cool thing.:rotfl:

stay tuned I'm going to upload a good pic of Wil from VBS soon...

Doesn't he look like a crazy professor???

Our VacationBibleSchool was Power Lab. My sister had the 5th graders (which was Molly's class) and this was her set up...too cute huh?
