Hey...if you haven't looked at Monica's blog in a while

she's added a lot more picture. I confess, I hadn't checked it out the last couple of weeks, so if you haven't either, go back and take a look.

I 'stole' this one picture because it has my CRUSH in it. Does anyone remember his name, I think it's Daniel, but I'm not sure. Oh my   my little heart went pitter pat every time I saw or talked to him.

So Monica, just zoom on that photo, crop everybody else :lmao: and e-mail it to me...OK? Anybody else got photos of him??

Oh, and on page one I added a link to part one.

.

:lovestruc I wonder why I have such a big smile on my face

Have a good time Nan! Good luck to Wilson and safe air wishes to all.

Thanks for your well wishes!!! We are home and he took first place in the heat...So Pole Position for the main and then he took 2nd in the main.

For those of you non race fans, this is a good thing. This is the first heat that he has taken first in, so we are very proud. And now Wilson's confidence is up so he tells us "he will take a WIN in the next race" !!! He also made is personal best at the track at 40.7 seconds, nearly one second better than his prior best. It was a great overnight and race day.

Nan...just wanted to say that I hope you guys are still ok...read about how horrible the air quality is in your area already.

At this link http://spaceweather.com/ it talks about the fires in No Ca and the "lavender sun" effect. Interesting.

I hope everyone is doing OK around the fires. I was reading the posts where people mentioned the effects of the smoke on their lungs! Ug! We have controlled burns up here sometimes and it gets so bad I just have to stay indoors or I develop a terrible cough. Everyone please take care!

As Steph mentioned earlier the air is yucky. I still have a sore throat. It's one of those things that doesn't keep you in the house as it's not that visable after a while you get used to the grey in the air. I hope we see some more windy days and even a splash of rain would make this much better.

Gotta go help unload the truck and ice chest from the big race day.

Check back later.

Love those pics, thanks for copy posting them Jan :thumbsup2

These are great pics! And Olivia is such a beautiful young lady, I love her smile :)

Holly, I have a problem with wasps every summer too. They love to build nests under my wooden deck chairs...at least we know to look now, 1st summer we had these chairs we couldn't figure out why the wasps kept hovering around us constantly

Kathe
Yikes! Well, hopefully they'll be gone for a while now. This whole dealing with yard pests is still new to me, being my first house. This is our 3rd summer here, but they keep getting worse, so now it's time to do something about it. :thumbsup2

WAY TO GO SPEED WILSON!!!! :cheer2:

Jan: Thanks for importing Deborah's pics to our thread. That's such a great view of the Magic at CC! And I sure do miss seeing Olivia's adorable smile. She's such a cutie! :lovestruc

Nan, hope you're feeling better soon   I had a very sore throat on my day off work this week  Didn't get anything done I had planned on. Didn't feel great for a few days, but not sick enough to stay home from work. I feel so much better today, so I think I got off lucky.

I just wish there was a permanent solution! Someone told me if I painted the chairs (they're natural wood) that the wasps would stay away from them :confused3 So guess I'll add sanding and painting to my summer list of "to do's" .

Well, goodnight everybody! Busy day tomorrow. Work, Tyler's karate class, some running around we need to do, and shop for 2 of Tyler's cousins' birthday gifts. One turned 7 on 6/15 and I feel horrible for not remembering him. I thought it was in July until I happened to check the date today on my calendar. That's what I get for relying on birthday party invitations as my reminder. Either we weren't invited or they didn't do a party for him this year.....either way, I still want to get a present to him. Then the other cousin, her 7th birthday is next Saturday (Marilyn & John's anniversary!). We didn't get an invite to her party either, but maybe her parents aren't doing a party either. Strange. So.......shopping tomorrow!

Goodnight Holly. Hope you enjoy your busy day tomorrow!

I have a few busy days ahead of me too. I work tomorrow, then will have my last visit with my son before he heads back home. I will be taking him to the airport early Tuesday morning...Canada Day! Then a friend will be bringing their used crib over to my house and helping me set it up. Not 100% sure yet, but it looks like my granddaughter and her mom will be moving in with me for the summer! I think they are moving in within a couple of days...it's going to get way busier around here, but I will get to see Serenity every day :cutie:

thanks guys Speed is flying high :goodvibes

Kathy, I know what you mean, I'm not "sick" so I have to get to work on Monday but I'm not feeling 100%. Hopefully this will pass and we'll get back to normal.

I loved reading about the fireflies! I'd never seen a firefly until I went to Tobago on a diving trip about 5 years ago. It cracked me up. They looked just the same as the fireflies in Pirates of the Caribbean!

I guess I never realized that fireflies were a Midwestern phenomenon.

I have found that you can now recreate fireflies in your own backyard, no matter where you live:

We have fireflies here every summer. They seem to love to come out all around the bushes on very hot muggy nights. I love sitting out at night and watching them.

Holly - wasps are awful! We had to kill a nest today. It was between our fence and the neighbours fence. We were knocking our fence down today and the guard wasp came and stung me:mad: . So the nest got sprayed - I always wear gloves wear spraying any kind of bug killer, so no stinky hands.:goodvibes

Nan - Congrats to Wilson!:cool1:

Jan - great idea copying those pictures over here. :thumbsup2
Scottishwee - I love that picture Ian took of the ship from the parasail. Olivia has the greatest grin :) in all pictures! Most other kids seem to do the goofy/cheesy grin at least some of the time (or most of the time for DD3).

Well, I feel like we got some stuff accomplished this weekend, at least my muscles think we did;) ! Ken gets to keep up the work at home tomorrow since he's got the next 2 days off. I have to work :sad2: tomorrow and then July 1st is Canada Day  ! Hoping we get to the park to take part in the festitivities.

Good night everyone!

Shannon, OUCH! I hope your sting is feeling better by now. Gloves.....great idea. DUH....I'm such a newbie at this! :lmao: That was my first experience using Raid. Now I know for next time. ;)

Kathy, how cool that you'll get to live with Serenity for the summer (and her mom)! :goodvibes

The Magic is in port and on our news this morning - everytime they do the weather they show the Magic (or the alternating shot of Disneyland)

One week from today my friends will be boarding her! I am so jealous...although my friend reminds me that they have 7 days while we had 15 :confused3 Still they get to go back. I have given her a list of people to be on the lookout for and say hi. I am sure they won't remember me, but I was remembered by one of the Palo waiters from the med cruise (very exciting for me) so I have hopes!

We are still waiting for the smoke to clear up here. It's been lovely temps but with smoke/haze. I haven't seen blue skies in over a week. I miss it! Plus the smoke is starting to give me and tay headaches.

We are off to see Wall E today and are very excited. Have a great day everyone.

Steph

I wish to see that and is any webcam as I want to see in August for Magic Eastbound Panama Canal. I want go back there :sad2:

I miss you all

Scottishwee35

I miss you all so much. We wanted to go film our friends leaving on the Magic in July so we could have it for our records and theirs BUT we won't be in town. I think we'll do it another weekend. My friend wants to request our waitresses for her cruise. Does anyone know how to do that?

Hello Everybody

I have changed my pictures now.

I am proud of these pictures.

Anyway, I must have a good day today as my husband and I went to Car boot this morning to sell our stuff and we got 110.00 pounds (220.00 dollars).

We are very pleased with it also I sold the kid's clothes on Ebay turn out 62.00 pounds (124.00 dollars).

We need it for spending money for Tenerife, Spain for this October.

Because we were overspending in Calorfornia:headache:

Scottishwee35

I understand. I spend too much in California everyday :lmao:

Morning everyone. A beautiful, hot day here in WA! :cool1: I have been so busy haven't checked in for a few....really focused on getting my side health care business up and going. Went to a class yesterday that was AMAZING! Nothing like leaving a class after 8 hours sitting and feeling so excited and energized.

I am so far behind I am just going to say hi! Hope everyone is doing well. I am going to try and keep in contact, but with this business and my 30 day plan, I might not have much free time...but when I am done I should have LOTS more time to play! :cool1:

Nan...just wanted to say that I hope you guys are still ok...read about how horrible the air quality is in your area already.

You've been busy with myspace :lmao: and your page looks great!
