Here's something that will make you say, "Awwww!" While in Tyler's bed doing his bedtime book and songs, we talked about our day and I asked him what was his favorite part. I thought for sure he'd say when I let him run outside after his bath, in his pajamas, and spray a can of silly string all over the sidewalks! :rotfl: Nope.....he said, "Just being with you mom". :lovestruc

Are you guys going on the Sept 12, 2009 Tortola cruise? You are on a list Ellaenchanted posted but you have not posted over there. I am making a list over there of DISers and I wondered.

Jan :earsgirl:

Yes, we're on that cruise. I didn't even know there was a thread for it yet!

Here's Daisy in her tropical finest!!!

(and hey... there's Ken in the backround.... HI KEN!!!!:wave2: :wave2: :wave2: )

Found this on the Picture of the Day thread. Do not remember seeing it here. It needs to be here too, so I copied it over.

Thanks Michelle, good photo of Ken. Too bad that duck got in the way:rotfl2:

I probably won't even leave the house. I want to take advantage of the forced day off work to try to continue to clean and get organized. :thumbsup2

Meeeee tooooooo! But what will REALLY happen is I'll veg all day Friday, then PERHAPS do projects Sat and Sun.

I've been playing in my trip photos for the last couple of hours. Actually I've been 'supplementing' the gaps in my photos with some of my cruisemates photos....thanks you guys. I still haven't downloaded the stuff from my camera yet....but I will and I will post some too. :thumbsup2

That's probably what will really happen on Friday for me too. Maybe I'll do some wild partying on Thursday night, then recover most of Friday, then Saturday I'll try to get real stuff done. :lmao:

Well, tomorrow will be a test to see if I solved our wasp problem. As I sprayed each nest, I was amazed to see how many little bodies fell out. YUCKY! That Raid is nasty. I've washed my hands many, many times and still smell it whenever my hand gets close to my face and my eyes burn if my hand gets close. And I didn't spill any on me, that's just from pushing the nozzle to spray the can. Gross. Then tomorrow the instructions say I'm supposed to knock the nests down so others don't re-inhabit. What do I do with it when it's knocked on the ground? Kick it into the street?

My crazy, half dead laptop makes all kinds of popping noises inside. Makes me nervous, so I think I'm going to get all my pictures off and saved to disk or uploaded to kodak.com where I keep most of my albums. I SOOOOOOOOO can't wait to get a new computer! Instead of a laptop, this time I'm considering a desktop one and putting a small computer desk in a corner of our living room so Tyler can start using it more. There's a computer program they use at school that I'd like him to practice with over the summer. He needs all the help he can get. He's frustrated about not being able to read or write, and he likes the computer program, so it will be a fun way to give him some extra help while we wait for those special ed classes in 1st grade in the fall. :thumbsup2

Could #6 be Linda's husband? (seaulater) Only her name is listed in the miniNav. Was she traveling alone?

I think Linda was traveling with another woman. Her husband had to work as I recall.

Can you PM Linda and Ginamarie and ask if they will check specific posts of these pictures and give name input?

Can you burn in your neighborhood? Could you burn them? If that is prohibited, you could bag them for the garbage pick up.

Sounds like a plan! And I like the idea that the computer is in a visible area so little people go to websites Moms approve of.

Jan :earsgirl:

Deborah from Scotland posted some super pictures on the Photo of the Day thread. Any reason not to import them here? She is probably in bed now.

Jan :earsgirl:
No, we can't burn, so I guess they'll go in the trash.

Plus we look at so many things on the computer together, sitting right next to each other. Any time he asks me a question I don't know, I tell him I don't have an answer but that I'll find out. He tells me, "I know how you can find out, the computer can tell you anything." ;) I guess it's good that he knows we can look up information, but he doesn't quite grasp the internet concept and thinks everything is sitting inside that little box, just waiting for us to read it. :lmao:

Michelle, I dropped another 7 years today and 2lbs!!! I'm 51 again.:yay:

I'll keep you informed of John's decreasing years.:lmao:

You can't really take it seriously, but we are having a whole lot of fun.

Cograts Marilyn :yay: What's with the lbs and years? I'll believe it if it will help motivate me ;)

Marilyn...

I told mom I'm going to get everyone in my family on the Magic next summer for my 45th birthday bash cause I ain't celebratin 50!!!!

Michelle, you need to celebrate both!!!
This PC cruise was my 50th birthday present to myself! I can't even imagine if I hadn't decided to celebrate with something special...I couldn't have made a better choice, you all helped make it the best birthday gift yet :goodvibes

Today is our wedding anniversary. We have officially been married 12 years!

We dated for two years while living in Southern California, then lived together for almost five years while I attended Graduate school (bad I know). So really, in September we have been together for the last 19 years. That's half my life!!

How are we celebrating you ask?? Yep, that's right, we are taking the girls to see High School Musical at the Gammage Auditorium!!

Congratulations!

Holly, I have a problem with wasps every summer too. They love to build nests under my wooden deck chairs...at least we know to look now, 1st summer we had these chairs we couldn't figure out why the wasps kept hovering around us constantly
