Somebody asked about 4th of July plans....can't believe it's next week!

I am just happy to have another 4 day week at work....nothing planned except for maybe some movie watching and possibly some type of sorting through crap. Those of you that are de-cluttering are becoming a bad influence!

Oh yes, I wanted to post for Kelly, Holly, Jan and all the other de-clutterers...

I cleaned out my pots & pans, casserole dishes, microwave stuff, cookbooks, flower vases and other assorted dusty stuff that hadn't been touched in years! I have 3 boxes to take to Goodwill tomorrow.

I appreciate your support and good example!

If any kid looked like he belonged in The Music Man, it's Wilson! Molly is in it, too? How fun!

It's really Molly's theater group. Same group she did last summer, Guys and Dolls, and Grease this spring. Wilson is the tag along little brother.

He was so cute, he was telling me that he got picked tonight for this "add-on" line because he was wearing the right kind of shorts He thinks his board shorts look like knickers. Last night he told me he needs to get his hair cute over his ears. HEEEEEE HEEEEEE HEEEEEE I get that bowl cut again

Let Molly know also that I said way to go on her business smarts in opening up a lemonade stand across the street from a garage sale. Hope they got some decent $.

I'll tell them you said "break a leg" and Molly did remarkably well with her stand, they made almost $8 in a couple of hours.

But our next cruise is Aug 17th. And we will be getting together with friends at the beginning of the month. So I will have some destractions, which I hope will help get me through.
Our Aug cruise is a 7 day mexican on the Carnival Pride. The Pride was the ship that was docked next to us when we were in PV.

My dad and step-mom were just looking at that cruise as they got an e-mail with rates as low as $599 for a balcony on it. But they have plans for that time frame in August so can't do it.

If Shannon had more vacation time it would be tempting for us too. But alas she used all her vacation time doing something else .... I wonder what that could be ....

Wow! We've got a lot of names filled in! I'll go back and redo the picture in a little bit.

I used Photo Shop Elements to add the names. I created new layers for each name (I think)! I'm sort of fumbling my way through it--where's Ken????

I'm here. Just waaaaaayyyy behind. When I left the thread it was back on page 5. Now you are up to 55 or something. I'm getting there though.

You're doing a GREAT job on the pic with the names.

In PSE when you add a new text it auotmatically makes it a new layer. You can at any combine layers to make it easier to see what you have in the layer palette, but if you have made a mistake with the names, all the names combined into that layer wil have to redone. I probably would have done separate layers as well, just in case.

So keep going you are doing fine!

I'm hoping to get to the final pic and steal it from you for my own photoalbum use!!

Shaelyn is my daughter on the floor and Kaleigh is on Shannon's lap beside me. Probably Shannon has already answered but what the heck ...

Deb - did you ever get your furry friends back from the cruise? (If I remember correctly they were in the lost bag, right?)

YES, we were so very fortunate and we did. We left the port to pick up our car rental at LAX and then went on to the hotel and checked in. As soon as we got in there we received a phone call saying that our bag just got returned from a bus......someone else took it by mistake.......realized that it wasn't theirs and returned it to the port. Thank goodness. We had 30 minutes to get back to the port before they went home for the day. We raced back there......thank goodness for GPS and maps......and found our way correctly and there was our bag waiting for us. Cozy, Squishy and Webster survived, but it was the shock of our lives. Thank you for remembering them and asking about them. They are home now and they are just fine.

Well, I didn't know you could combine layers; it's probably a good thing because I might have done it and then I would have been...in a twist, let's say since I've gone back and made changes at least 8-10 times. So far.

Just for future reference, how DO you combine layers? If it's too complicated, don't worry; I'll figure it out sometime.

And please help yourself to the finished picture--it's for everyone! But it's not finished yet. Still some mystery people to identify.

Oh my. DH says Steve sounds familiar too...I feel so bad I can't remember as we had several conversations. I really enjoyed his company, as well as his wife's. We stood together for HOURs on Canal day, and then were in line together for Ducky's autograph.

I'd love to find out and get their contact info.

Deb & Venetia......remember that we are all here for you as the anniversaries get closer. We love you and will be your shoulder to cry on when needed and help boost you up as needed as well.

You are the sweetest Monica......I wish I could be there with you on the day of......my mom is July 30 and Venetia's mom is August 1. It's just so incredibly hard to believe that it has been a whole year already. Wow, did it go fast! I'm going to get mom a light to put outside on the moseleum......it stays lit 24/7 and since it's expensive I said I would do it for her one year anniversary. I just can't believe that it's here already.

I feel the same away (about missing the photo). It was just so hard to make certain events - either the kids were busy in the clubs, DH was working, or we just were tied up with another event. I would have loved to be in the photo....

I'd forgotten about that, Deb. Glad it all turned out well! You know, when I went in to get my bags, I started to take one that wasn't mine (but it looked just like mine)--luckily I checked the tag. But I thought at the time how easy it would be for something like that to happen!
