Don't worry about being grumpy. We all feel this way sometimes. Just to let you know, Ethan chewed on his shirts all the way through first grade. He olny made a hole in one thank goodness. That was the year that he had the bad teacher I was telling you guys about. He was stressed that entire year. He also licked his face raw.

DD6 - chews her on the ends of her long-sleeve shirts - she does it when she's nervous or bored. She's gnawed holes in many of them, including her HSM one:furious: . I had to cut and hem the sleeves into short sleeves to save it. It drives me crazy:furious: . DD3 chews her fingernails and toenails! Tonight I put medical tape on all her fingers for a while. It was cheap tape and fell when she washed her hands, but she says she's gonna stop.

No super hula hooping here ... I'm really pushing to break 270.

I have also been doing the runs, and rhythm boxing.

I also tried the balance bubble, which was really tough. I've also realized that I've got really bad balance (nothing like being told off by a video game).

That WiiFit can be both encouraging and downright rude - it makes me giggle, especially when it asks "do you trip when you walk?"

Wow I thought I was average age when I started having kids. I was 25 with Ethan and 27 with Brooke. I will be young when I'm done but I still feel like I enjoyed myself a little before having kids....and after a little ;)

There doesn't seem to be an average age for having kids anymore. Shaelyn's classmates have mom's all over the age range. Some kids grandparents are the same age as other's parents.

BUT.... you had more TIME TOGETHER~!!

How wonderful that she had a Mom like you there at the airport. What would she have done if she were alone?

Nothing like a MOM to get stuff fixed RIGHT!:thumbsup2

What a frustrating situation! Good thing you were there to help. When I came home from my exchange student year, I was told I was flying to Vancouver where I'd spend a night with a family there and then fly home the next day. I arrived in Vancouver exhausted and there was nobody there. I stood around waiting for a while getting more and more panicy. Then found a payphone (had to call collect) tried calling home, no answer.... tried calling Ken, his roommate answered and told me they thought I was coming home that afternoon, so went to AirCanada desk and they figured it out for me. But that hour trying to figure out what was happening was horrible!

Carol - thanks for identifying my girls in the group picture.:)

Cherie - great job putting the names on :thumbsup2

Now that I've whipped through 20 pages I've forgotten all the things I was going to comment on (blonde moment).

Van Dough: This can't be... It's gotta be a joke. Are you telling me there isn't one single platinum bar, or emerald, or $10,000 bill in this "entire mountain"?

Richard Rich Sr.: Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you, Lawrence... but that's not what we Riches treasure.
Wise words. Treasure the memories, not wealth!

yes we'll stay in bed, but we'll be sleeping this time :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Well that's no fun. I'll only be 47 when Brooke is 20! I know we'll be sleeping :furious:

you're too young to be my friend anymore, or I'm old hmmmmm....which is it. I know when your kids are gone come with me because I'll get the senior discount. we'd have to eat at 4pm is that ok? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'll eat anytime to get a discount :lmao: Wilson is only 2 years older than Brooke so they should all be gone around the same time. You won't even be 60 yet so we can still paint the town!

:lmao: :lmao: I'll be 47 when Zoe is 5 1/2!!!!!:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

When I was 47 Betsy was 26!

Funny even though Paul and I married at 32 we didn't have a plan really either. :lmao:
Ok, I'm still trying to catch up but keep clicking on posts so best to post!

Quentin and I married "young" - I was 23, he was 24. He was finishing up his undergrad at that time, and I was getting my first job as a nurse. I worked at three different hospitals to help pay for his law school and it was GO- GO-GO! After three years, we spent 6 months in Europe, starting off with a 14 day cruise in the Holy Land and ending up in England while he studied law at Oxford. All kidless. It was wonderful, lots of great memories. One day drinking beer with some Australians in Munich. Anyway, we never really thought much about it, never really had a "plan." And then, I turned 29 and it was just like that cartoon - "honey we forgot to have kids." So we talked about it and before we finished the conversation...

4 kids later, we are trying for 5 and I DIDN'T get pregnant on the cruise. Totally surprised but GUESS WHAT? I guess getting pregnant at 40 is not that easy. So I called the doctor and he said how long have you tried and I said one month. He laughed. He said just b/c you have been ms. fertile mertle doesn't mean you can have this happen in a month. So now I feel my clock ticking and hello I have 4 kids.
And then I think....I will be 45 when he (you know it will be a he - or multiple he's) will be 5. And that is IF I get pregnant in the next few months. I started to panic. But then - DIS comes to the rescue. Kelly - thank you for your post!!!!!
We can go to the early bird discount together while going through the college tours. And you know what? I think we will have MORE than enough energy to get through it and just MIGHT need to wake up Gayleen from her nap to go shopping for purses (Love the Hermes) with us!

I don't think I posted it on the boards (though some people know), that Acoma Kitten didn't make it till I got home from the cruise. . .

She had 18 great years with us. . .
Jackie, we are very sorry to hear the sad news about Acoma Kitten.

I can't believe it's just about 1am and I'm still awake!:scared1: :scared1: What's going on???

Will try to get some sleep very shortly, but want to put in some replies before I do....

First of all - thank you for all of you who missed me :goodvibes You do know how to make me feel loved:lovestruc

Thank you also to those of you who posted about Ian (MY Ian)....it was just really surprising to see him act that way...definately not like the boy I'm used to. I will continue to let him know that he is my favorite nephew (a joke btwn us as he's my only nephew :rotfl: ) and that I love him. I just really hope he can grow out of this SOON!

Tammy - it's sooooooooo good to see you posting again. I was actually just thinking about you this weekend and wondering how you & the kids were doing. I'm glad that the kids seem to be doing better.....prayers & thoughts still go out to you.

    To all of you that have lost 4 legged members of your family lately. Know that they are watching out for you from above :lovestruc

Ian - am on page 3 of your neighborhood photos...great pics. The area sounds wonderful.

Lisa--glad that you were able to get Vanessa safely on her way home. I've thought back often (ex when you posted pics or stories about her) about how rough things started out for you both (ex-WDW trip) and am thankful that things were able to be turned around and that this was a great & positive experience for all.

I know everyone will remember this past year w/ love....you have great memories & as others have stated...you will keep in touch...not only through the computer (have you thought of using SKYPE?) but through future visits as well.
