So I've decided I need to go buy one of those pill containers that have separate compartments for each day of the week. Seems silly to need one for just one med, BUT.....I took a pill before bedtime last night, then I woke up around 3am in a panic because I'd forgotten to take it, and took another one. I didn't realize I'd done this until morning when I had a clear memory of taking TWO. Definitely NOT good and that may be why I slept so long. Really, 10am without waking up? Not normal for me at all. I always still get up by 8 on Saturdays.

I was certain it was going to be storming by now. When we left Walmart earlier, the sky was almost black with storm clouds, and the wind had picked up bigtime. It looked like it would storm any minute. But nothing happened. The weather guy predicted storms all day today and overnight, but nothing but a little rain early morning. I guess that's good because everything will be dry for me to mow the backyard tomorrow.

Did I scare everybody away? Well, I guess it's pretty late, and people are headed to bed. That's where I should be!

Tyler loved seeing all his dolphin encounter pics on his bedroom wall! I found an empty patch of wall, and put them in 3 rows. 3 horizontal pics in the top row, then 3 vertical pics under those, then 2 more horizontal pics under those. I guess it's a bit too much, but he loves it, and I know I'll love looking at them whenever I'm in there, so it's good.

Then my little goofball wanted his picture taken next to the traffic barrel at the end of our driveway. What a fruitcake! I suppose he's grown attached to them because work started on our street about 1/2 way through our cruise and is still not done.

Connie, I hope everything works out. I moved my father to Chicago and that was very difficult. In our case, my father could no longer live on his own because he had had to undergo the amputation of one of his legs.

He was living in Houston near my sister and elder care down there just was not very good.

I wish you all the best ... this can be a very stressful period, both trying to deal with one's parent's emotions and trying to find some suitable arrangement.

I will just take one day at a time with my mom. She turned 79 today and we ordered a nice lunch from Macaroni Grill....one of my favorites! And picked it up to eat at home and open birthday cards. It was a nice day.

My DH is a minister and it is a group from our church. None of them do Disboards and they all think I am nutty.....but they all do love DCL!! This is the 4th cruise we have done together!!

It sounds like a lot of fun!

And I totally GET IT about the spelling thing.

As the Latin student at my lunch table in High School, the French students would give me their French books and ask me to read. The Latin pronunciation of the French totally cracked them up, but I learned no French from it.

I was thinking of setting up a camera, but I've got better things to do with my life than stalk bunnies...

I've GOT to get to bed. It's insane that I've stayed up this late when I have 3 hours of driving to do tomorrow. Sure, that's probably not a lot, but it's more than I like to do. But we're going to go visit my dad for belated birthday wishes and have lunch together.

Yup, It's good. It's his room and it's your house and you should have whatever makes you happy in it.
