It is our 39th wedding anniversary today. Can you believe that? Almost 2 life sentences.

Can't celebrate as it is Molly's Christening, but we are at that age and generation that it doesn't matter.

However, I did get some gorgeous flowers.

My computer is down engineer will come around on Wed morning to fix it as the modemn is broken. My neighbour helped me this morning and give me temporary wireless modemn. It is working now as missed it for nearly 3 days.

Good morning all! I trust everyone had a nice 4th of July if you are in the U.S. and a nice July 4th if you live elsewhere?

We loved Wall*E. I want to see it again, but we'll wait for the DVD to come out for that.

We actually went out for dinner last night. Brought the car home and walked up the street to go out for Italian and sat at what else, a sidewalk table. We had an excellent meal.

We never go out to eat when we are at home, we only do that when we're on vacation.

All in all, it was very nice and very busy day.

I had to stay up sort of late, because the neighbors were setting off fireworks. I didn't want to let the dogs out in that because it would have scared them, so I stayed up until everyone stopped and went to bed, which was about 11 PM.

I'm now sitting on the front porch, enjoying my coffee and the fantasic weather we're having in Chicago.

I went for a walk on my lunch hour and it was cold outside. Now it's cold enough where I wish I'd had a jacket on my way home this evening. But it was such a sunny day, it was still beautiful! The next few days are supposed to be just as beautiful. I just love summer!!!

STUPID WEATHER, LAST THURSDAY NIGHT, ON NEWS SAID THAT THE WEATHER WILL BE HEAVY RAINING YESTERDAY. WELL I WAS NOT DOING ANY WASHING, AND NO INTERNET TOO. I WAS CLEANING THE HOUSE AND THE HOUSE IS CLEANING APART FROM UPSTAIR WELL I NOTICED THAT THE WEATHER WAS SO BEAUTIFUL DAY

Guess what I supposed to go out last Monday to watch the cinema of Sex and the City, but I forgot all about it. grrrr because that night was substitled.

I look for another dates - none.

I phoned engineer for one hour and it still not sorting it out - i became bad mood yesterday.

This morning, I had enough and asked my chinese neighbour as they are very good to us. They did helped me and phoned the engineer less than 10 mins. Then that is and will sort it out next week.

Why people don't listen me yesterday

I am happy now and manage on computer now

Well, I couldn't get my new tires yesterday because all the tire places were closed (which of course I already knew) except Wal-Mart and when I went there, they told me they don't do anything with rims. The tire I currently have replaced with my spare needs the rim pounded back into shape because it got dented when I hit a pothole in the road. If it can't be pounded back into shape, it's an extra $125 (approx.) for a new rim on top of the cost for new tires. I'd like to replace all 4 just so I have even tread all around, but if I have to deal with the extra expense of the rim for that one tire, then I'll just get the front 2 replaced.

SO......I'm going to eat breakfast, then head out and try again to get tires. Good grief!

Don't get sucked into $125 for a new rim. One of the tire shops should be able to straighten the old rim if it is not to badly bent. If they cant do that for you there must be some wrecking yards in your area where you can buy a used rim for a lot less.

When Wendy's had their promo to earn free flights on Airtran we were eating there for lunch and dinner and driving through for drinks during the day. At night my dh would go down and they would let him go through the garbage. We earned 8 free round trip tickets in a matter of 6 weeks.

Thanks Doug. I've gone to multiple tire shops and they've all told me it's too bent to pound back into shape. It's so bent that when you try to put air in the tire it just hissess right back out instantly. But.......the place I'm trying today has used parts (a recommendation from a friend who has had good results from this place), so I should have better news from them.

Well, I still haven't left yet for the tire shop. Good grief! Had to wait for one load of clothes to come out of the dryer so I can put the next one in to start drying while I'm gone.

It's such a beautiful day again! 67 degrees, bright blue sky, not a cloud in sight, sunny! I wish I could send some of this sun to those of you having lots of rainy days.
