waterlaunch from DTD?

Have never been to DTD (plus last time to WDW was over 2 decades ago) and had a couple of transportation questions:


1. Was just wondering if there is a waterlaunch available that will take you from one part of DTD to another (ex. from Marketplace to PI)? And if so, where are the "boat" stops?

2. Where do the waterlaunches that leave DTD go?


I have two young kids and was just hoping to build some "boating" time into our DTD day without having to rent a boat.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

1. Service is sometimes provided between the marketplace near Rainforest Cafe and the West End.
   
2. Service is provided between DTD and SSR, OKW, and PO.

Just hop on the water taxi at the DTD dock and ride it from there to one of the hotels and back....however, a nicer boat ride if you just want to ride around for a while is to catch the launch from the Contemporary dock to Ft Wilderness and the WL....it is a small open boat, and a longer and much prettier ride.
