Water View at POFQ?

Hello Disney Experts!

I just upgraded us to POFQ from ASMo today using the 7 for 5 deal I requested a water view room but I just read that they are the farthest from the bus stops. Is this true of all water view rooms? Are they that much better than a standard room? We have a 4 yr old DD and now I'm wondering if we would be better near a bus stop or the food court? Any suggestions for room location would be great! Thanks!

JMHO, but I would not waste money on a waterview room at a moderate resort. Your room will still be the same if you have a standard room. Now if I was getting a king size bed then I would spring for the extra bucks. As far as distance from the bus stop (there is only one) and from the food court, POFQ is a very compact resort. I would venture to say that no room is more than 5 mins. away from either. Of course, others may tell you to go for the water view but I would not.

Have to agree I wouldn't spend the extra for waterview at a moderate. You won't have a balcany to sit out on. So unless your going to open the curtains and look out the window, I don't think its worth it.

Well we just got done staying at POFQ in building #1. We were in room 1209 which was facing the parking lot but was only about 1 minute walk to the pool/main building. We dealt with the bus stop problem by hopping in the car and just driving and parking by the bus stop. Worked great for us there. With the POFQ being so small I don't think there is really a bad room to be had there.
