We hope to get to a waterpark on our trip next year, but I was reading one of the guides, and it mentioned that in the kiddie area, you had to be 48-inches or shorter? Does that mean I can't go with my kids into this area? My boys will be 4 and almost 2 during our trip, and I don't think I'll be letting them go in alone....

Thanks!

The 48" is just to ensure big kids/teens do not use the stuff geared towards the little ones that can't go on the big slides. You are able to go everywhere with your little ones, have no fear.

You can get into the area, but you can't go down the slides. My older dd was just over the 48" limit at age 7 and wanted to go on the slides with her little sister. The CM wouldn't let her go. You can pretty much see what they're doing from the bottom though and the CM helps them at the top.

I actually had a question myself about the kiddie area in the water parks....what is the whole diaper situation?? do they allow diapered children in the water if so are there certain areas they are not allowed?

So where would we locate those areas of shade that people are running for? When we go in which way do we run? :sunny:
