Water available on Monarch flight from Newcastle

Last trip I froze bottles of water for the journey. Now we are only allowed a limited supply, is it freely available onboard?

I am sure all airlines provide sufficient water etc, if you are not too sure just pick up a bottle in the departure lounge.

No they don't supply it free of charge but I would imagine you could buy it from the trolley when it comes round twice. We just bought a load of bottles in the departure lounge (saved getting them weighed if they were in hand luggage - not that they did weigh the hand luggage but you never know). We did once get a plane back in 1996 that had a free water dispenser in the plane and it was heaven.

Surely they cannot charge for water to keep you hydrated??

I agree it seems wrong, but at least i'm forwarned & will get some at airport. Thanks guys
