Ok here we go! (the pictures are huge, but im not resizing them. please don't hate me. I didnt know they were so big till I typed this all out and hit preview post.)
Everyone was at my house by 10:30. My best friend Devin was coming in from Queens, so she was a little late. And she was really dumb and drove by the wake and was all upset, so we were a tad late in leaving. She had a beer, and was fine then.

We had 2 cars going into the next town which is about 15 minutes away. We got to the street that the bar is on, but couldnt find parking. Theresa's boyfriend, Mike was driving and kept going on about how he couldnt parallel park, so if need be, I would have to. (im an excellent parallel parker). I saw a spot that he could just back into, and was like pull a u-ie! (you-ie?) He whipped around and we parked. No parallel either! We had to wait for the other car to find a spot, then we all went in.
The bouncer scanned all our id's in his machine, which took forever, wished me a happy birthday, and we went in. Now this has never happened to me before. We walk in the bar, and not even 10 seconds later, 2 guys are talking to me. "Oh see my friend here saw you outside and thinks your really beautiful, and loves your dress, and yada yada yada. Katie goes its her 21st birthday!!!! (thinking they'll buy me a drink) They're like oh um we're 28 so we'll see ya later. So getting hit on, good, by guys too old for me, bad.
We found a little table in the back and got comfy. Devin bought us kamikaze shots, and I had one. Then Chris and Joe went away and came back with 2 beers for me, so I was double fisting. Magic hat no. 9 is delish by the way!!

So for whoever was in the lounge last night, remember me telling you about my ex-boyfriend? Now the town we were in wasnt big, but there must be at least 50 bars. And this is a bar that we usually dont go to, because its kind of an older crowd, and we like to run into people from h.s. when we go out, and none of them would be there. So I see my friend Pete walk in and I get really excited and he comes over and gives me a huge hug. He turns around and Marc (creepy ex) is there. I just ignored him, but how on earth did he find me? Seriously, it was bizarre. There are so many bars and he just so happened to wander into one that no one ever goes to? Thankfully I have very very very overprotective guy friends, and they just kinda circled around me and didn't let him come near me. They left pretty quickly thankfully.

After that whole fiasco (might have been in the middle, I don't remember exactly) Tom had called me and told me he was on his way, but couldnt find the bar. So im now outside looking around like a fool for Tom. Thankfully he saw me jumping like a loon. Big hug from him, and we went back in. The bouncer was being a jerk and almost didnt let him in...uh guy hes 24. License picture was taken when he was 16. Deal with it buddy.

We really wanted to head over to the bar where we know a lot of people would be, so we finished our drinks and left. At this point, my shoes started to hurt. It was about a 1/2 mile walk to the other bar, and I was in agony! I figured all the drinks I would have would make the pain go away. Oh and on the walk, we ran into one of our friends who was meeting us! He lives in CT and we dont see him a lot, but he came down for this, so that was very exciting.

Get into the next bar, and find everyone!!!! You would have thought we hadn't seen each other in 10 years, instead of a weekend. This place was HUGE. 3 separate bars and a lot of rooms and stuff. We went into the quiet room and the little bar. I got a sex on the beach, and have no clue what everyone else did. I drank that, then it was dancing time! On the walk over to the other room, I ran into people from h.s. which was nice. I wasn't really in a dancing mood yet, but Tom made me anyway. He loves to dance, and he drove me around all night, so I owed him. There was lots and lots of dancing, and this creepy dude kept trying to hit on all of us! The guys made a big circle around the girls, and he stopped. Various friends kept pulling me away to go drink more. I recall a jolly rancher shot, 2 more sex on the beaches, vodka and sprite, and I think possible something else. We were there for about 2 hours. Somewhere in this mess, my feet were KILLING me. So were my friend Katie's. We both took off our shoes, and im sure we know have herpes of the feet, or some other gross disease. Oh well. I survived Nicaragua for 12 days, I can survive 20 minutes in a bar. (We later decided that Nicaragua was probably cleaner, further re-affirming the herpes of the feet) Because of the wake, a lot of the firefighters didn't end up coming down. I really wanted to see them, and they were at a local bar in town, so we left and went back into our town to see them. On the walk out I ran into one of my old friends from h.s. His nickname for me is Eos (long, funny story, ill tell some other time), so I only knew it was him because I heard EOSSSSSSSSSSS from the middle of some people. He gave me a huge giant swing me around hug and im pretty sure we almost took out some people.
Chris and I...he stole my crown. Then he pulled the, I'll just hold it up over my head cause you're so short you cant get it. I got it back somehow though!

Now we had to walk a looooong way back to the car. Im pretty sure I whined the entire time how badly my feet hurt. They were KILLING me. OUCH! The shoes were comfy in the store, and I gave them the 10 minute test in there. Oh well, I had fun, so who cares.
We got back into town, and the the local bar. My firefighters were there, which made me very happy. I got huge huge hugs from them, and was finally able to sit and relax. I wanted mozzerella sticks, so asked Joey to go make me them. (He works at the bar, but was off that night). All the guys decided it was somehow a 4 person job, so they all went off to the kitchen. The fryer was turned off! It would take about 15 minutes to heat up, and then a little while for the mozz sticks to cook, so I just told them to forget it cause I wanted to go home. However, the bartended threw me a bag of Tostitos and I was happy. Oh, my friends sister surprised us all and came up from Virgina to visit!!!! We hadn't seen her in forever, and were sooooooo excited when she walked in.

The bar was empty except for us, so we were all just hanging out. I was exhausted, and wanted to go home. We needed to figure out rides though, cause we lost a few cars & people on the way back into town. 2 of my girl friends didnt have a ride, and they both live on opposite ends of town, and their stuff was at my house. So Tom, being the awesome guy that he is, took them home. We had to go to my house, get their stuff, take Katie home, then take Martina home, then me back home (Tom wouldnt let me stay the first time cause he wanted to make sure I got upstairs ok). I think we got home around 3 30 - 4 ish. I was exhausted, and in major foot pain. I had a GREAT time though. The only bad parts were Marc coming, and the firefighters being upset from the wake. I hate seeing them upset, especially these guys, cause they're constantly so tough. Many many shots and drinks were dedicated to Chuck last night. I really did have a great time though. So many people came out for me, and we ran into a lot, and just had a really awesome night. I have incredible friends, and im SO happy I got to spend my birthday with them.
I tell them its a good thing they are cute all the time. Luna cat is the least trouble out of them all.

) He's hoping DS will say 'lets just go home tonight' since there are no activitiesplanned for tomorrow morning except breakfast. I thought about goin back to van shopping but that really doesn't appeal to me. DH wanted me to go by myself to see how they treated me. We had a friend who went to buy herself a car once and the salesguy asked her if her husband knew what she was doing and didn't want to sell it to her. She went elsewhere and then took her new car back to that dealership and called the sales manager out to tell him that she would've bought her car from him if his salesman hadn't been such an a$s!
note: I just found out a friend is pregnant with her 4th child. Her Dh has had the surgery, but it has repaired itself (and apparently this happens more than we know, according to another friend who works in a Dr office) Her DH is in the AF deployed overseas for a year and it happened while he was back for 2 weeks in Feb. It would seem absence makes the sperm grow stronger
