Anyone else use a wash and fold service?
i started last month.
For me and my son it cost about 60 dollars a month (its 90 cents a lb for the first 10 lbs then 80 cents a lb for anything over 10lbs )
I save about 15 dollars in laundry detergent , prob about 5 dollars of water , about 8 in electric and gas, and about 10 hours of my time...
the place is directly on my drive home from work , so it cost no gas/ no time to drop off pick up.
I still do my own towels and sheets once a week.. but those are easy .. no need to babysit them for wrinkles
its wayyyyy worth it to me..
Anyone else do it? Thinking about doing it? What are the prices for it in your area?

I live in a small town and this service is not offered. My sister would do it from time to time when she was extra busy, she lives in a more metropolitan area.

)I got hooked on it. We paid 80 cents per lb. - but that was approx. 5 years ago. It was worth every penny to us.
. There are two near me, one with a sign hanging outside and one with the information painted on the window, but none at the other end of the city where almost everyone has washers/dryers.
I always buy a $20 box (on sale) of Sears powdered detergent, which lasts my family of 4 for at least half of a year.
