Was anything changed in Buzz?

So... after the refurb... any new developements? Were the rumors true that they were going to make the guns detachable? Or.. is it the same ride.. just a general cleanup/maintenance refurb?

They opened "Buzz" a full week earlier than originally stated, and the ride did not seem to be what I'd call "re-furbished" at all.

Outside of replacing some (but not all) of the blasters, NOTHING is different. The blasters are still affixed to all the cars the same way as before.

They didn't even appear to have REPAINTED the cars.

I said at the time that they were trying to save money to make up some of that $7.4 BILLION they paid to buy Pixar. (That deal was announced about the same time "Buzz" re-opened.)
