Also I edited my post to say they are messing with the site (UNDER BOOK AN EVENT when you log in... menu options pop up now... the page no longer looks to appear on a new page, but moreso inside the current window. Doesn't work, I hope it is working before my event on Saturday!!! I need to print off my crap :)
 
Now I can't even get into the booking section of the website. AOL has decided spam email comes from that site so they've decided to block the page. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I guess I need to go use Internet Explorer more & more these days.

I see that menu. Page not working for me either. They must be editing that points page text.

Anything too good always comes to an end. I was racking up nice points bringing camera to each event. Now it will just go slower.

Also, just tried to access the website, it new now after you log in ... instead of a new window opening up to BOOK AN EVENT it looks to appear on the same screen (obviously it says page not found as this looks to be a brand new design change)

I sure wasn't expecting that reply. :mad: The least they could have done was notify us about the change. Plus it would make more sense to implement it at the beginning of the next quarter, 10/1. Guess they were giving out too many gift cards. :rolleyes1

Once I get logged in, I can't go to any of the drop-down items under "Book an Event" either. I get an IE error. :headache:

Points will not be awarded for any events performed prior to the inception of the points program or for ineligible photo entries. Point program shall not be interpreted, either expressly or impliedly, as an offer of employment with MC/SPi for any duration of time whatsoever. MC may cancel the points program at any time, in its sole discretion, without notice. You are not eligible to receive a gift card unless you are an employee in good standing at the time of issuance. "

From the email: "This will not affect all Salute to Savings events only those with the Program numbers 524773.03001 and 524773.03002. If you have other Salute to Saving Events those will execute."

And I can't get into the site to look for more!!!

No, I got a pretty mean E-mail (threatening termination if "these" types of pictures continue) Well the picture they were referring to was on I took of me at my event (kinda Myspaceish) were I held the camera out at arms lenght and got some of the table and some of me...

Well it has to be of ALL of the table and showing you near the table (which is not normally a problem, but this time I didn't have a place to set it to get a timer photo off)

When I first read the E-mail I was thinking I submitted porn to them or something... don't know how, but that is the way this girl made me feel by her tone.


FYI... Can't get into the Ebooking portion of the site either.

Where were they located? I have not received an E-mail recently ***KNOCK ON WOOD*** but I did get mine cancelled about 3 days after I booked it about a month ago.
 
The site seems to be “back to normal” without the drop-down under “Book events”. No new events though.

Salute to Savings Event - They were being held at Meijer & WM here on 9/22 only. Sometime this morning, they pulled the WM from view and now they’re back. I’m booked at the Meijer store and haven’t received an email yet.

Photo - I don’t always have all of the table. Depending on what shelving, if any, and the distance from the shelving is the view they get.
 
BRivers, that's crazy. :scared: OK, I haven't had any of those photos. I use a shelf & shoot as wide as possible & crop on the computer after. If shelf is impossible, I ask an employee or customer. BUT, some of those come out insanely blurry. (Its scary how some people don't know how to hold a camera & press a button without moving.) I check them at the store & reshoot if I have to.

Termination ---jeesh --- a bit extreme, huh?

Ebooking is working again with AOL. No changes in the points system text. ??? No events cancelled & no new events. Everything same as before.
 
Wow! All but one of the many photos I uploaded just have my table/set up in it-no me. I just took a pic of the table! Guess I better not do that anymore. :laughing:
 
Well I havent posted on here for a LONG time but glad that i started reading this again, i had no idea about points, i think mine just hit 25 points this past weekend. oh well. also i hope you are right i have an event tomorrow and i have to print my stuff so i hope the website starts working son if it really is down over on these parts...ugh. i shall now start keeping up with you guys again..lol
 
I've got a Glade Wisp Flameless Candle event tomorrow at Kmart. Good luck to anyone else. I'm just glad to have a weekend off from driving to Cape Cod.
 
Ok...last minute question.

For the first time I will be doing two events in one day.

A technical question and I think I know the answer but....When I leave my first event I will need to report my results before I reactivate my card for the second, right? I usually wait until I get home before doing my results and I only have 30 minutes between the two events and a good 20 minute drive so if Ican do it later I will but...I am thinking that I will have to do it right away.

I know some of you have done two in one day--any info would be appreciated!

Yes, report then reactivate. I've only worked a double once, but that's what I did.

I like the idea of doing two in a day but I will reserve ultimate judgement until I see how drop dead tired I am at the end of the day!!
 
QUESTION about today's Glade Wisp Flameless Candle

I'm not sure I'm reading this right. I know we don't put the oil in the candle for the event. That's why we have scent stickers. But are we also NOT turning on the "flame" light? That's how I'm reading it. So we just plop it in the cardboard "stage"? Note: In the FAQ, it recommends not running candle without oil. :confused3

Back when we did the Glade Lightshow, I don't know if I did it wrong or not, but I did have the scent turned on. A employee complained numerous times that it was giving her a headache. I finally turned off the scent since I had filled the store with it anyway. :laughing:

I tried posting this last night but we had thunderstorms & kept getting kicked off. Hope someone sees it before I leave at 10:20am EST. (4 hrs from now)
