YIPEE!!!! They finally sent me an email. Now I am all nervous for the interview -- I cannot belive that I typed that -- I am 40 yrs old and have a "real" job this is supposed to be for fun!!!

What kind of questions do they ask???


All the questions are in that video on the stayingconnected.com main page, and don't worry if you get one wrong on the phone, they'll just tell you the answer lol
 
Question for anyone who lives in the states with the $10 raise.
Have you had any problems with your pay amounts recently? I've got 2 emails going with Daniel where I'm questionning their math for amount paid. This problem is new & never happened before. It seems they have missed the $10 raise on 2 events. That's the only explanation I can come up with. If you do 3 identical events, you would expect them to all pay the same with the exception of the on-date rate.

I've even consulted the SPI rate sheet to be sure. They should adjust the sheet to reflect the $10 raise. I think that's where the error comes into play.

So, anyone else? They must have someone in payroll that's new & can't add. :confused3

Mine have been accurate (Minnesota has the $10 raise), all except for them cheating me out of the entire $27 on that Coppertone off-date, everything has been right on.

If it's a $10 raise for the 5 hour jobs, do you know what the difference is for your 4 hour jobs?

I meant to say I am sorry about your vehicle too Splash, it really sucks!

I only have one job booked for next Sat. and then one 9-22 and nothing is showing for the future - maybe I got fired when the lights went out at ST.
 
I only have my remaining August jobs & an event 9/22. Nothing else except some Labor Day weekend events that I would rather grab as offdates if they will still be available. And some 9/15 Glade flameless if I'm willing to do some traveling.

No but I've yet to be paid for a 6/2 & 6/10 event... I've both mailed & faxed and Daniel still says they don't have the paperwork. I've been exceptionally patient about the whole thing but it's starting to wear thin.:mad:

Do you think this is something they pull when they haven't been paid by the company they contracted with?

It's really awful that you've gone to all that trouble to get the paperwork to them twice and you haven't been paid.
 
I’d like to know when this on-line results reporting they’ve touted will occur? :confused: Hopefully, that’d resolve the “missing” paper work issue.

I’m doing my other off-date Pastry Strudel event today. Yesterday was slow though I did sample out 5 of the 6 boxes of strudel. I was telling people to grab 2 packages of Hamburger Helper and still had about 20 left. The store I’m going to today is always slow so it may be a long day. Made the cardinal mistake of not checking my outlet before setting up the table. Sure enough, no power. Had to move everything down a bunker. Any guesses what the first thing I do today is????:laughing:

After today, I don’t have anything until the 9/1 & 9/2 Target events then not again until 9/22.

Skunk update - The house smells pretty good this morning. :) After I got off yesterday, I went to three pet stores looking for a shampoo & odor eliminator for the house. The first two stores were sold out. The 3rd was sold out of their favorite product, but had one can of Petrotech De-Skunk coat cleaner. It worked great to eliminate the remaining odor and it’s an All Natural product. My biggest problem was when I bathed the dog the night before, I bathed her in the bathtub and the smell was in the drain that was permeating the house. :eek: The man on the phone at Petrotech hotline kinda of gave me a clue the drain could be a problem, but I came up with a solution out of luck. Poured bleach in the tub and drain and that took care of the odor throughout the lower level of the house. I believe a dog has been apart of my life for at least 30 years and this is the first and hopefully last time I’ll have to take care of this issue. At least I know what to do now.
 
With SPi I get the extra $10, I don't with TMT. I have also not been paid for the times I had to use my own money because the MC Card was not working. One of the events the Target manager Qmos-ed the product for me and I was able to do the event, but TMT only paid me the $40 non compliance rate. I e-mailed several people there but I am getting no response. I have not booked another event until they take care of it. The other ladies did say they were never paid for using their own money when their cards did not work. :sad2:

The event instructions for my first event-Glade Wisp-say "If you have rescheduled your event on Monday you MUST activate your MC card an hour before the event. DO NOT activate your card the day before." Huh? Anybody ever see this before? I didn't reschedule this event, but should I wait until an hour before to play it safe? Thanks!!

Early in this thread, people said that cards activated Sunday didn't work on Mondays so I think it's something to do with maybe re-booting their system on Sunday nights?

Yes, that is a known fact. That info was in my MC info packet when I was hired. And its been mentioned a few times in this thread also.

ALL ACTIVATED CARDS ARE DEACTIVED ON SUNDAY NIGHTS. Therefore, for Monday events, you must activate on Monday.

I guess they are starting to add it to instructions for anyone who may forget. I forgot once. It takes just once standing at the check-out with a card that's not working to never forget again. hehe
 
Thanks for the responses. The Glade is for Saturday so it won't matter, but I do have an offdate Scott's t.p. on Monday and would not have known to wait until Monday morning. :thumbsup2
 
Did anybody work Tuesday or Wednesday of this week and if so, has your event appeared in the “My Points / My Photos”? I reported my results as soon as I got home and have the confirmation numbers, but neither event is showing up yet. :confused: Usually, they appear early the next morning after the event. Thanks.
 
I worked yesterday and it hasn't showed up yet. I'm glad you posted about this. It's always nice to know you're not the only one. When I called in my results yesterday, I got a little ahead of myself and started entering the date ( 08-15-07 ), when they asked for the Event #. I only got to the 0 when I realized what I was doing. It didn't ask me too re-enter anything, so I hope it's OK.

There is no mention of the Sunday deactivation in anything I have received. There was also no video in my startup kit. I think this is probably true for many of us hired recently which may be why we have so many ?s. Thanks again!!!
 
I've gotten my 2 pay errors fixed. Yes, both times they forgot the $10 base increase for the state of MA.

The first time I asked, I didn't point out what I thought was wrong, just that I thought there was a mistake. When they replied back that it wasn't an enhanced event, I replied that all other 8 Coppertones were & if that is supposedly the problem, then your math still doesn't add up.

They looked into it more after I questioned it being the state increase & they now agree that was the mistake.

It seems I have this problem alot in life with people who handle MY money / paycheck. I've had to fight with my last employers payroll company & create a spreadsheet to show them that they had a glitch in their system where they were not depositing all the money into my retirement fund that they had withheld out of my paycheck. :eek: Now THAT is a mistake ALOT of people would never had caught!

Annoying when handling $ is their job. Sorry, former asst bank manager side of me coming out. Just ggggrrrrrrr.

No it won't... That just replaces the phone call... we still have to mail in the original paperwork to get paid. :headache:

I have an e-mail going with Daniel right now (Maybe with all the above emails to him this is why he is taking exceptionally long to reply to me) about my event I did last night at Walmart. The POINT balance did not update today... usually it adds a point the very next day but so far nothing. It even allows me to enter a photo for the event, but no point.

As far as the $10 raise pay issues... that is never an issue as we don't get it in Michigan :rotfl2:

As a rule of thumb now, I ALWAYS activate my card the morning of or on the way to the event. I used to do it the night before... Now I just do it in the morning

Actually, my DH's last employee wasn't depositing his 401K in a timely manner. I called the office to let them know, got a lot of excuses, and 3 months later the owner filed for bankruptcy.:eek: We never did see that money. :headache:

Also, just tried to access the website, it new now after you log in ... instead of a new window opening up to BOOK AN EVENT it looks to appear on the same screen (obviously it says page not found as this looks to be a brand new design change)
