i just did the green tea target event and got another table with a nice surprise. i got referal cards!!!!!

not sure if i want the competiton but then again i can barel do events due to my other job. anyone refer people yet?

I now have 6 tables sitting in my mud room!! I need to move some to the garage or basement. I figure I will use the more beat up ones this summer at my garage sale! The one I just got from the Enviga was different in that the top was not the shiny 'finished' cardboard top. It was just regular old white cardboard.

I too got the referral cards and actually have a friend that would probably like to be referred but I am seriously considering being selfish and keeping as many jobs for myself as possible. Events are kinda hard to come by as is without adding to the competition.

POSSIBLE NEW EVENT ALERT:

Just received mass email from Daniel about still open events for March. Boy there is alot. It includes an event at Target on Sun 3/11 (1-5) for Archer Farm Orange Macadamia Nut bars listed at many towns. BUT its not showing up in ebooking in any town here in MA. Yet.

I now have 8 tables plus a little square sidekick table (used for ballots). I tossed one already after I broke the handle.
Really need to find a new home for at least half of these tables!

I store my extra tables in the attic. I THINK there are maybe 6 up there. I can't tell you how many I've tossed just because I have / had too many.

Only thing I've found them good for so far is setting up a buffett table at holiday time & setting up yardsale.

I just signed up for my first event. It's at Target for Archer Farms. I would like to log in with the login number and password that the guy sent me but it won't let me. The website I have is www.staying-connected.com is there a different one for e-booking? Also, is there a specific page in this thread where there is a bunch of info in one place for running events? Thanks for the help...I'm pretty excited!

The site you listed is the correct one. You will enter your password and number in the upper right hand corner. Then once you are logged in (screen does not change much just the entry boxes dissappear) in the grey bar menu on the bottom right it will say 'book events'. Click on that..note that it does not act much like a normal clickable link--the curser does not change (at least for me) but it is clickable. Then you will get to the screen where you enter dates etc. and search for events.

There really is no running list of events. People just post when a new event shows up for them (by doing the above search process) so others can watch for it. For me, once I see an event posted here it will take about 2 hours to show up for me. However, not all events that are posted here are available in my area.

I have fifteen(15) tables around my house and in our business storage unit. That doesn't include the 5 I have tossed because they got worn out by liquid from events.

I have referred 3 people so far, but usually I only send the invites to my Ebay buyers out of state. competition is too high around here to be referring people in my hood.

if you "just" signed up and got your username / password... give it a few hours. It took my wife 6 hours before she had access to the site. Its been too long now for me to remember my wait, but it is not instantaneous.

Nope, not using referal cards here! I have about 50 days before our Disney vacation and I am taking everything that comes my way. As far as tables, I have about 6. The kids use the older ones to play with!

Hi everyone-
I signed up & Mass Connections sent me an email & left me a voice mail message. I am going to call them back tomorrow- I am just a little concerned b/c they are asking for my personal info (ss#, drivers license etc.) I discussed this with my DH & he thinks I should worry about identity theft. Why do I have to give this info b4 I am even hired? They may not even hire me. Did everyone have to give this info? Do I have a reason to be concerned or am I being a paranoid New Yorker? Please let me know.

Thanks for your speedy reply! I just checked them out on the BBB website & they never even had 1 complaint since they joined the BBB.

They hire everyone. lol Yes, everyone provided that information with their application & tax forms. Its legit. No problems.

Yeah...I could not even access the page about half an hour ago. Now I can access and get to booking page but it will not let me search for jobs. I can put in date, miles but the search cities (i think that is what it is called) button is not clickable. Grrrrr.

Did any one get the email from MC about being entered in a drawing for a $500 gift card if doing a target event and having a manager forward a good word about you to Target headquarters and a similar thing for non target stores but entered for a $100 gift cert.? Sounds cool but not really sure what to tell the if they ask how to submit the info. The good thing will be that i have been at the same Target for 3 events in the last month with mostly the same managers each week and I think they like me!!

Yes, same problem with website as you now.

I got the email too. I never seem to get a manager that wants to right anything. Only once ...but it was a tiny Kmart an hour away & they never seem to have events listed.
