Ya know that 8am grand opening I unbooked? Well, someone unbooked their 2-7pm event at the store & took the 8am one.

So, should I take 2-7pm doing a mobile sampling of Jergens Shea Butter lotion & Curel lotion? I buy 1 of each bottle & let people try some. I also get samples of a bunch of different shampoos & other Kao brand items to pass out all while walking around near the products? Kit will be delivered to me since its a Walmart Supercenter.

And since the store opens at 8am that day.....maybe they won't be as disorganized by 2pm?

Soooooo how boring are those lotion events? I think this won't AS boring as usual....I think people will be coming in looking for freebies. And I'm thinking I can keep my samples some place (pharmacy area???) easier than I could have kept cereal that I was going to have to keep filling little cups from.

Some of the last events people have listed just aren't showing up in MA.

OFF DATES ARE NOT EASY TO SPOT. You need to notice the store (Walmart or Kmart), then notice the event date is coming up soon, THEN PULL DOWN THE DATE menu to see if any off dates listed yet.

LOL.....only one I found was an off date at Kmart for Sheba cat food & Fresh Step kitty litter. Bad enough its those garlic sniff jars for the litter again....but you need to open the cat food & put it on a plate so people can seeeeee the quality. Replace cat food every hour for freshness.

So....anyone doing that one? Who comes up with the directions for these things? lol

This is the first off-date event that's ever been available for me. I'm tempted, hoping the kit and stuff won't be available. Is is worth it for $48? I don't think so, but am having trouble passing it up.

I ended up unbooking the Fresh Step/Sheba one... I did two of just the Fresh Step ones back in the summer & they were BAAAD! Can't imagine having to do both that & the cat food...

I just got the Cacao Truffle one, thanks! I keep telling myself I'm not going to book my entire weekend but continue to do it... I'm actually hoping nothing comes up for the weekends of 3/17-18 & 3/24-25, with my FT job, I've been going stretches of 3 weeks without a day off... I NEED to go to the grocery store & clean my house!!!!

Well, I just passed up an event that was an hour away, Kotex and schick, Only 4 hours, off date and an hour both ways, It's just not worth it... Right? I already have plenty for that week, I don't want to kill my feet....
I'm not doing a Target this weekend... Why pick this weekend...... Oh well, I will be at Walmart hopefully I can get them to write something good....

I don't think that an hour's drive is worth it either. That's why after a month and a half, I still haven't booked anything. Everything is at least an hour away from me. They told me that they had events in several towns close to me, but everytime I check (and I check several times every day), the only events that come up are too far away. I am very disappointed.

I'm not taking anything from March 31-April 8.... that is spring break for my kids, and I will need a break by then... It is very tempting, but I just can't do it..... I won't let myself... Anyway, we are planning on going to TN for the weekend to visit family.... I missed the visit in Jan because I was working.. but my husband and kids went without me.... I kept busy by working but it wasn't the same... It's the only weekend my kids don't have sports so it is the only time we can visit.

Sorry guys, I posted and ran last night...lol. I have to go cehck out the new look then, i am intrigued, i am off to dr tho so maybe when i get to work.

Wenpop, I decided that i wasnt booking anything within a time period eiuther, my dbf is on vacation and i took a few days off so i agree, time to relax, altho i dont work as many events as some of you i do work full time during the week and if I take 2 weekends jobs, thats it 15 days of straight work.

While I don't work full time jobs like some of you guys, I too am secretly hoping for a full weekend off soon. I feel like I haven't seen DH in a while. lol Either I'm working when he's not, or he has guards on weekend. He's always taking work home at night....or watches TV shows I can't stand. So far, I have nothing for weekends of the 17th & 24th. Lets keep it that way.

Its really too bad Target doesn't do off dates. There are so many not booked. I would surely do some of them during the week.

I can understand how disappointed you are. Which agency were you assigned to, SPI or TMT? Possibly the agency you were assigned to does not have many events close to you. Maybe another agency would. Might want to check with MC to see. Good luck.

Good for you taking some time off. I am glad they have a few events on the week day when my kids are in school anyway, that way I can take a couple of sunday off to go to church. I am trying to stay focused. We have paid for our condo for Disney, I am just working on ticket money now (MY four yr old wanted that smilie)!

I don't have anything for the weekends of 3/17 or 3/24 either. Since I'm on vacation the weekends of 3/31 & 4/7, I hoping something will open up for at least one of the days of the 3/17 & 3/24 weekends. Since Easter is the weekend of 4/7, I'm guessing it may not have events.

I too wish Target offered off dates. It's rare when a Target event goes unfilled here, but right now there's two I'd like to get off date. Target and the rare KMart are the only opportunities I have.

I know The Target I always work at has one of their own employess demo-ing during the week. I wonder if all of them are like that? She always does Archer Farms and Market pantry stuff. I only have one event booked for March so far-Bertolli frozen dinners on the 25th. Nothing coming up for the 17th or 18th close by. I want to keep the first two weekends free to do some day trips.

Also, I have NO tables. They (TMT) never sent me one!

For dinner tonight, I'm going to practice making the Pillsbury Biscuits in my toaster oven for Saturdays event. They should go well with the beef stew I have in the crock pot. mmmmmmmmmmmm

I've been gone all day and have not tried ebooking since last night. I am getting page not available again. It sounds like people have been able to sccess it today so am I the only one or is it down for everyone? I am thinking the next time i get back in I might print my stuff for Saturday and Sunday. I am worried I won't be able to get in when I need it. I usually wait until the night before so I catch any updates but.....

Let me know how they go. I was looking at them when I was at the grocery store and was thinking about the same thing but the budget is tight this week and it would not 'go' with dinner so I skipped it. I hope I don't have a difficult time on Saturday. Who knows...I may just worry myself into getting them and trying them out tomorrow.
