Has anyone received their neutrogena make up remover kit yet?

FYI they updated the EVENT INSTRUCTIONS TODAY... NO KIT. We purchase the items at the store.

Also, the JOB NAME now reads, "EYE MAKEUP REMOVER - NO KIT"

We are to buy the pads and cotton balls at the store. Oh the joys

Is anyone else going to print Target store coupons from this site to attach to the larger size bags Archer Farms chips we are promoting?
http://coupons.50webs.org/

Its the very last coupon on the page. Click it, then it asks how many copies of that coupon you want. It prints 5 coupons per page. So far, I've printed 20. I'll be set up as people are LEAVING the store though - right near the freezing cold door. Thinking of asking mgr if I can set up somewhere warmer since I'm already sick. And maybe I can make some sales.

FYI.....there are FREE Choxie choc bar coupons on there too. :thumbsup2 I've read MANY places online where people have gone thru the line just once with like 5 coupons & gotten 5 free bars all in the same transaction. Someone can do the same with the chips. They just need a coupon for each bag.

Have you done this before? Are you taping them to the bag or just passing them out? It sounds like a good idea to me. For it to generate sales during our event, I think we'd need to be in a spot other than the Food Ave. on the way out the door. Does anybody think we'd get in trouble for this?

For the Free Choxie coupon, could this be our in/out purchase?

Since I'm doing the Enviga Event at the same Target, I'm taking my Event instructions with me Saturday in hopes they will have pulled the product and chilled it next Sunday. Don't think it could hurt.

I've taped manufacturer coupons (provided in kit) to the product before. I used to just hand them out, but if we get coupons, now I tape them to items on my table AND to items on the shelf.

I've never looked for store coupons before....so I've never used them before. Unless you count the mfg coupons that stated to be used at Target only. :confused3

I was going to tell the mgr before I did it...ONLY because they were Target coupons. But I don't see why they should have a problem. They are coupons from their own website. The link I gave above it a 3rd party website that just makes it easier to print them. If you print directly from Targets site, you use 1 sheet of paper per coupon.

Last Tuesday, I even made 2 little signs I taped to the product shelf location saying I was giving out free samples around the corner (date & time); since I wasn't set up in a really logical location. I made sure to remove them when I was done. I saw similar signs in a store one time from another demo co...but she never removed them when she was done. lol

Hope I don't get in trouble... but I just unbooked my 3/3 WM Pillsbury & 3/4 KMart Cat Litter events & booked the 3/3 Flat Earth Crisps (which is NEW btw) & the 3/4 Pepsi Jazz... I'll be losing pay on the Pillsbury/Flat Earth swap but I can only bake 4 Biscuits (and from experience probably more like 2) at a time... I can picture the vulgars lined up at my table.... and well the Cat litter one is just painful!

Thanks, I just got the flat earth crisps. I just hope my target starts keeping up with my kits.

Since I'm doing my next 4 events there I think I'm going to print off all the Manager letters & give them to the Store manager on Saturday... that way he can keep an eye out for the kits (or more importantly the samples!)

Wow, when it rains it pours. I got a part-time job M-F 12-3, and now there's plenty of sample work for the weekends. I can't help but book some of them. They're so easy and close to home. DH might kill me, but I've decided to hire a cleaning lady.

:sad1: I've unbooked this Sat. I'm back to sneezing & dripping. And now add in some chills & some other TMI details. :sad2: I sent Daniel an email saying I was sorry for unbooking on short notice & explained. Hopefully I won't get in trouble. All my other ones were unbooked more like 2 wks in advance.

At least the kit was delivered to the store in case someone picks up the event.

I have a really bad cold also! Have not slept in 2 nights!:sad2: I'm glad my next event is not until 2/24!

Hope you get better soon. I'm hoping to be able to sleep tonight. It would be a great thing. :goodvibes

I am new to this.. can someone please tell me about these demo jobs and if they are hard etc...

Me too! I don't know how far back to go in this thread but I really think I need to find something that I can do every other weekend and maybe a few hours during a weeknight or two. I just need something to bring in a little money once in awhile. Thanks!

hey we really dont mean to be a pain around these parts but... You really should go to the beginning of the thread. All the info of how to apply and how long it takes is back there. The last half of these threads are just our musing and sharing of information. So while I dont mean to be snooty, you would find all your answers back there:goodvibes !!

Lisa and Splash I hope you guys feel better it is tough being sick!! Here is some get well vibes for ya':wizard:

I just booked the Flat Earth Chips. It will be my first event, and I will do the Diet Pepsi Jazz the following day at the same Target. Does anyone have any advice for me on my first demo? Any tips or anything? I'm a little nervous, but excited too! I will be so grateful for any help you guys might be able to give:goodvibes

Luckymommyx2 & Vickie46 - I too am going to suggest you start at the BEGINNING of this thread and read at least the first 1000 - 2000 posts. That is where the really useful information is. I joined in on this thread in October, when it was around 3,000 posts, and prior to that, I read EVERY post. Did it take me a while? YES, but there is a lot of valuable information that the “pioneers” of this group sorted through along the way. I'd read for a little while, take notes and would come back and read some more. Do you need to read every post and all of it? No, some of it is repetitive and after a few pages you recognize when to move on.

Family Fun Mom - My best advise is to be prepared and relaxed. Make sure you activate your MC card, have the phone number to call if your MC card is not working and the phone number of the contact during the event. Once you’re set up, it goes smoothly. The biggies - before you leave the store parking lot, make sure your Store Report form is signed and the managers name printed and you have your two receipts. Lastly, call in your results. Good Luck.
