Well I did special K yesterday and they only had 4 things of K20 I bought 2 and sold the other 2.... Then they were out of the peanut butter bars within 2 hours.... Only thing left was the cereal, It sold pretty well, I think 9 boxes.. Wish I had more Peanut butter bars, everyone seemed to like the samples, I had plenty of those to sample but not enough on shelf to sale....

Still waiting on my pay check from Jan 27th and 27th.... ANyone else still waiting??

Warm Delights today, 45 min drive, Hope traffic is good today... But I have to go 75 to 285 then to 85N...... But for $70 it is worth it right????

Yesterday’s Choxie event went pretty well. The manager of the store couldn’t have been more helpful. It took them 10 min. to locate the table box and another 15 to locate the product, but it was found. The napkin package had been opened and a couples of inches worth removed. Thankfully, I had enough napkins and didn’t have to go to the food court to look for more. Gave out most of my samples - around 30 left. Didn’t count the inventory as it was in multiple spots over the store. Just did a guesstimate and a guesstimate of how much was sold. Sold 2 of the $25 gift boxes. I set up at the Choxie end cap which is within viewing area of the food court. Setting up in this area allowed me to show all the Choxie products available and I’m guessing 30 - 35 people bought some type of Choxie product.

Brivers - Looks like you set up where I did.

Did anybody have the question - Where is Choxie made? I had two people ask that question. I’m not sure if they were auditors or not.

Family Fun Mom - Welcome to the demo group. I’d been a stay-at-home mom for almost 13 years when I jumped into this. Just finished my 3rd demo yesterday. So far, so good. This job allows me the freedom I need to do the home/family stuff and still get out and earn a few dollars.

I have been a stay at home mom for almost 10 years, Started Demos in Oct... Been a nice way to make some extra money.... I am really going to miss my Saturdays for the next 3 months... My kids have baseball and soccer, Can't miss their games.....

I did have someone ask that... threw me too... it wasn't addressed in the selling points (unless we were supposed to direct them to the website) which I didn't do. Oh well....

BTW: Winning comment (pick up line) of the day yesterday... an old dude sidled up to me & said "Candy's dandy but liquors quicker"... my response.. isn't that your wife up ahead?!

I've been a sahm for 22 years, so I was REAL nervous when I started this job last spring. I'm also have health problems, which leaves all full time jobs out and most part time jobs! I'm so grateful to find a job I can handle!

I had one employee read me the riot act for not calling the day before and getting a "contact person" who would find my samples and have them ready for me. Anyone ever do this???? Now, she didn't seem to really know anything about the demos (not a ST), so I think she was just full of it!

Also, the manager helping me took my papers so that she could figure out the alternate products and disappeared with them after giving the fiery chocolate bars. I had no idea what products I was supposed to 'promote, but not sample', so I just grabbed some Valentine boxes and put them on my table! So I was a wee bit frazzled by the time I finally got set up. When they sent me more bars, I told them I needed my papers back so I knew what I was supposed to say, one hour into the demo!! !

I may be losing my mind but didn't we get notified a while back that under no circumstances were we to contact Target ahead of time?!

I too thought we were not suppose to contact the store ahead of time. Since the managers at Target yesterday were so nice and helpful, I gave them a "head ups" I'd be there for 3 more upcoming events and product was being delivered to the store. They asked what I was going to demo and said they'd be on the lookout for it.

drgnfly30 - I checked a couple of boxes to see where the Choxie was made, but didn't see anything. As they were starting to walk away, I told them they could check Target's website or Choxies. I don't even know if Choxie has a website. Oh well, if I was audited, I don't think they could rate me too low as I did try to help.

As stated above... Were were explicitly told NOT to contact stores ahead of time.. mass would contact them. In liue (sp?) of that I printed off the little letters they give you for target events (page 4 or 5 of work instructions) along with the very top of page 1 showing the stuff I am demoing and gave it to the store manage yesterday for my next three events booked there in the next few weeks. he was greatful... Will that help them actually get the merchandise? doubt it 100% but at least I tried

Well if we are discussing creepy (well he wasnt but an oddball maybe) some guy yesterday starts talking about how good it was after he tried some , goes into the cerreal isle where his companions are at then comes back to throw out the cup but (and i honestly dont remember most of it cuz i try not too..lol..but) he says something about how good it is and since its sweet with honey do they put the bee in as well! Go figure!! lol

My Points page?? Is anyone elses page counting points all the way back to Oct 1....instead of Jan 1. Looks like my page didn't start a new quarter on 1/1, & its including last quarters too. It says I have 18 points.

Also, there were/are $1 coupons for Nature Valley cereal & Fiber One bars in this past Sunday's newspaper coupon section. Not one customer mentioned it. hmmmm I wonder if anyone will say anything tomorrow. I'm bringing my coupons so I can buy some cereal. ALSO, NV cereal & bars are on sale at my grocery store, but cheaper at WM.

Also there are/were coupons for Warm Delights in case anyone doing that demo.

During my fuel up demo there was a girl who took a sample of my fiber one bars. She asked me why there were rat turds on the samples and proceeded to tell me it tasted like ****. She then spit it on the floor and walked away. I wanted to slap that kid's face.

I guess it pays to take the camera then. Its just that mine is so large (digital SLR type). I've got an older PDA that can take pics. I think I'll dig it out. They won't be as good, but its alot smaller to take to the store.
