For those of you doing the Hershey event tomorrow, you may want to take a knife to cut the Kit Kat Caramel bars. I bought one at the grocery today and it would be very difficult to break into pieces by hand. I thought it tasted very good.

Went to Kmart this morning to see what the inventory looked like for tomorrow’s event. While they have a lot of the Kit Kat Caramel bars, they have none of the New Reese’s Crispy Crunch bar. The candy bars are .69 each. How many do think I’ll sell? Sure wish they were on sale. Also, none of the Ice Breakers Fruit Sour Gum, but they did have the mints. Once again, not on sale. This will be my second event. Didn’t sell any Tassimo and I can’t imagine I’ll do well in the candy arena either. I think I’m in for a long 5 hours tomorrow.

By the way, in the event kit, there are suppose to be “table tents”. Are these fold up “thingies” for the table?

Well, we just received by email a LONG list of events still available for booking in February in MA. I checked ebooking. Search not working. So I quickly picked up the phone & called Daniel leaving a message of the several I was interested in.

He called right back within 2 minutes....and I was able to get:

2/17 4hrs Target -- Choc Dipped Altoid Mints
3/3 WalMart Supercenter - Pillsbury Bake-off (biscuits) -toaster oven needed - $6 extra pay

He says he gave me the ebooking fee since its not my fault.

Also, the Fuel Up's are not on off-date yet, but he says to call back on Mon for those.

And he checked March for me. Nothing new there that I didn't already have booked.

Nice guy. We were chatting & laughing. He tried REALLY hard to talke me into some Nuetragena....even offering more $...and increasing it when I said "I hate make-up events". I declined.

He kept searching & offering stores....like Plymouth, MA SuperWalmart that for some reason always remain unbooked.

I just printed off instructions for the ones booked with Daniel.

The Choc Dipped Altoid Mints event also includes Archer Farms Parmesan Garlic Chips. Set up in Food Ave snack bar area. 530 mint samples provided in kit delivered to us. 335 chip sample bags delivered to store. Sounds like another busy one where we handed out those boxes of snack (granola) bars.

Hey, I just realized. That's 2/17. The one year anniversary of the day I quit & walked out of my real full time job. I'm so much happier now.

I decided to pass ont he pillsbury one due to I hate cooking events, i prefer the none food ones but ill take an occasionaly food on if its just samples or cutting stuff but i draw the line at cooking..hehe

Oh last week I won $25 for Wal Mart for my picture at the Neutragena Event.. A big suprise!!!

How long do you have to wait to get your $25 for 25 points?? Do you have to wait till the next quarter? I just made 25 last week.....

My Point page is weird -- like everything else computer related with them.

Its says a quarter ran 10/1 - 12/31. New quarter started 1/1. I don't bring a camera, but maybe I should start doing so. Its showing 12 points. From 10/1 thru current. Are they merging quarters?

Oh....and I totally forgot. Daniel said I could work 2 events in one day if I wanted too on 2/10. I passed since I was doing another event next day already. I thought that would be too much. I take it there is a lack of EP in my area. I see there are referral cards available on the My Points page...so I emailed asking for some to be mailed to me. I guess I can afford to hand out a few FAR from home & hopefully make some money. I can give up the furthest stores since I have 2 new SuperWalmarts opening closer to me.

Good luck. I do feel better after seeing the list...knowing I've gotten all the jobs I could in my area. And many more if I wanted them. I've got 7 future events booked now. Working towards my newer updated kitchen.

What is the “3 unbookings” rule? Does that mean you can only unbook 3 for the whole time you work for them? What happens if you go over that?

Even if you do it a month in advance?

Did they book any jobs for you? Or are they making you wait till its fixed?

I got my W2 in the mail today! Postmarked 1/30/07 from CA. I guess I'll be doing our taxes Sunday during the Super Bowl....since the Patriots aren't in it this year.

And I just got back from Dollar Tree. I needed more disposable gloves. They have tomorrow's (Kmart) Reese's Crispy Crunchy bars 2/$1. So, in the interest of product testing , I bought 2. When I'm selling Kmarts 69 cents bars tomorrow, I won't be telling people they are 50 cents next door at Dollar Tree.

OK, this statement has been bugging me. Why would they implement a change that "is not working for most"? Back to my pet peeve I posted yesterday....people who can't do their job.

No they didn't offer to book any jobs (or even tell me if there were events to book)... it was a one-liner (again). No luck as of yet.

Why wasn't it tested before implementing... especially since they attempted it once before & pulled it.
