I finally put my big Hershey sign on the floor. People kept bumping my table, the sign would fall over, and knock the cups off the table. After the second time I had to throw my samples out because they hit the floor, the sign was gone!

Also, thanks kpauley for suggesting to take a knife. I really don't know how I would have broken all those bars like the instructions said to do!

At the end of the quarter (april 1st i believe) they will see all the points you have.. for every 25 points you receive you will get a 25 gift card to certain stores. So far I have received gift cards to Target and Walmart.

Yes, Brivers, I noticed no tableclothe. But what I noticed more was how nice & clean (new) your table looks. I think its time for me to toss my current one & take on the my extras from storage.

I wanted to tidy up my table, but the girl taking the picture had to get back to work quick. lol
I agree, a knife was a must for this event. I had planned on bringing one, but glad someone mentioned it to others, because I forgot to.

Splash - Your display looked great. I didn’t know what to do with all the stuff in the box. The stiff cardboard Hershey sign I put at the bottom side of the table and put the cardboard What’s New sign in front of the table. Didn’t use the table tent for the two products I didn’t have and didn’t use the long glossy you have displayed in the front, since I didn’t know what to do with it. Now I have a clue for the future.

My event went fairly well considering our weather was very cold, around 0, and I didn’t expect the store to be as busy as it was. Used 37ish candy bars and almost 2 tins of mints. Didn’t have the gum or Reese’s candy bar. Sold 60 candy bars and 1 tin of mints. Luckily, I found a shopping cart at the end of a register filled with misc. stuff that had two full boxes of the caramel bars or I wouldn’t have had any to put out for “quick” sale.

I have Target the next two weeks. Three events in February. I’m rich.

Did you set it up that way? They are taking more than enough out of mine.

Tell your son to make sure he keeps the demonstration area tidy. This is my 9 year and things keep getting more and more unkempt... Make sure he does not steal anything from the demonstration area, they used to have these nice hats that were probably stolen by teenagers. Make sure he washes his equipment good after using it because some of the supplies are starting to get messy. Let us know what day your son starts his demonstration job. Maybe one day I will get to work with him. I enjoy having people to talk to.

The reason I say Promoworks is better for the kids is because they teach you the value of a dollar. I do not think teenagers should be making $14/hr for sampling. It just seems too much for someone their age...

No, when we first signed up I filed out the paper work with one 2 exemption. I really did not think anothing of it untill I got my W-2 and my DH was like you did not have any federal and state taxes taken out of $3,400 dollars. So I emailed payroll and they sent me a new w-4 to fill out.

Hi all! I don't post on here much, but I love reading all of your tips.

My last event was in November. Now I have 3 events at Target in the next 3 weeks. I have Choxie, Altoids, and Enviga(I would also love to know pronunciation?) I have never done an event at Target. All of my events have been at Wal Mart. If there is anything I need to know about Target, please let me know.

Also, can everyone look at their pay info online? I am with TMT.

My guess was it was short for invigorate. The British spelling being envigorate.

no sorry. Looks like at some point, people (groups) were saying that Enviga's claims of it helping you lose weight simply by drinking it were a fraud. I haven't look into wether it is true or not. I fixed my links above. Sorry for confusion.

BTW, Fuel-Up OFF DATES ARE UP. I can't search my area, but I saw them listed in a neighboring state. Waiting for Daniel to call me back from couple of hours ago.
