Walt's Warriors (Team 7) Miles and Hours

Jen! I've missed you! Wasn't going to bug you, though, because I figured you had your hands full of baby and no keyboard. ;)

Hello Wonderful Warriors!

4 miles for me In The Dark. 56min 48sec.

Doing pretty good with training.

Have a good one!

Tracy

Good evening Warriors! I did 3.07 miles in 46 minutes today. I've had to dig deep this week but I'm getting it done. I am a Warrior after all!!!!!

Roxy good to see you here.
Jen, glad to hear from you. Seems like you do have your hands full with 2 in a stroller. Sorry about Harry giving you the business.
Carrie, thanks for getting me on the list, as long as the numbers are there whatever weeks they fall in don't really matter do they. Thanks for letting me know that 2 are combined though.

Today was a coffee event. My miles to Starbucsk, stopped for coffee and to read my book, then those miles back and it was a tiny bit hilly so I consider it up hill both ways. Then Kirby dog and I went out for our miles again today. Wonderful beautiful day.

11/6 got in my LR since I am off for a girls weekend today...7 miles, 1:40 ( it was more of a wog since I was pushing DD in her stroller). At least I got the miles in.

11/7 15 minutes crunches and pilates ( had hoped to do more, but DD thought that me laying on the floor was an invitation to climb and sit all over me :)

Have a good weekend warriors!

I had a soggy 45 min last night. Didn't start raining hard until we wre at teh turn-around point. :sad2: Luckily it was warm out adn not too big of a deal. I was really fast on teh way back so, had a good pace! :rotfl: 4.13 miles.

Hope everyone has great long runs (walks/combos) tomorrow!!!

Hello my team of Warriors!

I did some drills as a warmup today about 5 min.

Walk for 4miles in 58min 19sec.

Warmdown and stretching was 10 min.

Have a great Saturday!

Tracy

Hello Warriors...

Went to my race today.
15 min warmup.
3.75 miles race in 46min 50sec.

I did some more miles just to keep me on track with training for the half and to cool down.

2.28 miles in 44 min.

Yeah Warriors!! Double miles and time for us!!

Tracy

Awesome job, Tracy! :cheer2:

I signed up for a last minute 5k this morning. The 1st annual Run thru Roseville 5k. It was a small race with a boring out and back course, but I did it anyway. Double miles! 3.1 in 39 min.

Yeah Michelle!!

GO warriors with our double race points!!

Tracy

Happy Sunday Warriors!!!

Today I did a 13.25 miles in 2:24. I used a "run 5/walk 1" strategy which kept me under 11 minute miles.

Would have gone farther, but I started to get some funny "uh-oh" twinge in my right hip, so I took a right turn instead of a left & cut the route short.

Ahhh. Isn't training for the Goofy FUN!!!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Tracy well done on your race time- fantastic pace and extra miles too! That seems a really odd length, was there some sort of significance to the distance?

Michelle just saw your race too. Brilliant run, i love those last minute ones and the extra miles!!!

Got outside to do 7.8miles 70mins and 10mins stretching. Wore my new trainers from london- ended up with kayanos (eek ££££s but i'm helping the economy right?). Still had to ice my knee at the end of the run so we'll see.

Hope you've had a great weekend warriors

The race was either a 6K, 10K or 20K. 3 laps was a 6K, 5laps a 10K and 10 laps the 20K. I guess it made it easier on the race director to make it a 6K instead of a 5K??? Not sure.

Kate: hope the new shoes help you fly!!

Good evening Warriors! I did 3 miles in 44:33 minutes.

Congrarulations Tracy and Michelle on your races. Way to get out there and boost those miles.
Kate, I hope your knee is just getting used to the new shoes and nothing more. Great time doing thse miles!!!!

My totals for last week are: 13.74 miles and 200:26 minutes.

Have a super successful week Warriors!!!!!

becky you star!!!! That's a brilliant time and so pleased it was lots of fun too. How was the heat running at that time and did the event go a bit more to plan this year? I hope it was a truly magical experience for you :goodvibes

Kate - You are so sweet!! I was pretty impressed with myself, I have to tell you ;) I averaged 10:06/mile which I have never done for that long a distance before. The weather was warm and somewhat humid, but there was a wonderful breeze. It also started on time this year which was nice! Sorry about my delay in responding :scared:

Now to catch up on my stats:
week ending 10/25 - 24.37 miles, total time 6:54
week ending 11/1 - 16.2 miles, total time 5:21
week ending 11/8 - 5.1 miles, total time 1:27
today 11/9 - 10.15 miles in 2:36

Becky

Way to go Tracy and Michelle. Double miles too!
Amy, I'm always dealing with those floor issues with my Kirby dog. Used to be when the kids were little. Dogs never grow up so he is always taking my being on the floor as an invitation for him to play too.

I've got my figures for last week:
Nov 1-7 = 25 miles and 560 minutes.

Yesterday I did my 14 miler LR. Ugh, all I can say is at this point I am really undertrained and have no idea if I can make 26 in time allotted.

I am back from an AWESOME trip to the world, followed by 4 days at Club Med! I have lots of miles and minutes to post!

10/27 - 3 miles; 35 minutes with stretching
10/29 - 5 miles at Boardwalk! With other stuff = 2 hours
10/30 - 2 miles; strength - 1 hour; total = 90 minutes
10/31 - 4 miles; strength - 90 minutes total
11/1 - 3 miles; some core; 60 minutes
11/2 - off
11/3 - 3 mile run, 60 minutes of tennis, kickboxing class; 2 hours
11/4 - 60 minutes of tennis; kick boxing class; 90 minutes
11/5 - 11/8 - OFF
11/9 - 4.5 mile run, with stretching and cool down, 55 minutes.

Phew! That brings me up to date! My tri was postponed due to half the course being underwater! And since I am not local, I was not there for the make-up date. Oh well. There will be others, right?

Hi all! Did 10 miles on the indorr track this weekend. :scared1: 1:51

WIll try to catch up tomorrow. Today's lunch was spent fighting NWA. :guilty:
