Did 2 miles in 33 minutes on Tuesday night with another friend pushing her child in a stroller. Noticed that her child sits politely and watches the scenery, while Coach Harry chats constantly.
Speaking of excited, Minnie's coming soon! That's a really good thing, since I'm worried I'll be pushing the limits of my WISH shirts and favorite shorts in another couple of weeks. My doctor told me that I'm officially fine to run the Minnie... okay, he said that once I explained that I'm not going for records and intend to chat and visit with WISHers the whole time during the race!

And it's official, it's another BOY! Yep, I'm tired just thinking about it.
Barb- you go, Warrior! Just so you know, in my personal opinion, a trip report cannot be too long. I like all the details! No pressure though. Seriously, have a great time. You've put in the miles and you are ready!!
Kate- since the marathon, anything around 7 miles starts to hurt a bit for me. I don't think it's a real injury, but I'm not willing to risk it this close to the Minnie. I may or may not try for 8 this weekend. I took things slowly in the last couple of weeks before the Goofy and did fine. (OK, actually I was great in the half and had really annoying leg pain in the full-- but, I didn't know my leg was going to hurt until I was at the starting line of the full. I might have not shown up at all if I'd had that same pain the weekend before. And, since I'm rambling, I finally realized the new style of shoes I bought in November caused the pain... maybe check your shoes too).
