Now that Walmart Delivers Has anyone used them to deliver things like water bottles to WDW resorts?

Walmart deliver!!!!!

I would consider using it if I were only staying at Disney, but we have 10 nights on IDrive first so are doing a Walmart shop before heading over to Disney.

We did for our trip this past January. We got a case of water, cereal, a few different granola bars, glow sticks/bracelets for the kids, and probably a few other things that I'm forgetting (sunscreen?). It allowed us to eat breakfast in our room. I packed plastic spoons and disposable bowls in our luggage. We did have to stop and buy milk at the hotel, but we still saved a bunch of money between the water, breakfasts and snacks.

When we checked into our hotel room, they asked if we'd like the packages brought up. We left for the parks and everything was in our room when we got back. Easy-peasy! I would definitely have things shipped to the hotel again, whether from Amazon or Walmart or somewhere else.

Do you mind saying how much the delivery charge was?

This worked out well for us. I ordered juice, shelf-stable milk, snack foods like granola bars and cereal from walmart.com. It arrived at Pop about 5 days before we got there. Bell Services delivered it to our room after we checked in.

At that time, there was no bottled water available on their website. I used Turner Drug to deliver the water.

I used Walmart when I went in Oct. Shipping was free over $50. Some things cost more than they do in store, but many things are very similarly priced. The only thing I purchased that was more than the store was bottled water, which was about 7.50 for a case, not bad in my opinion. I was able to purchase pop tarts, Capri suns, diapers, etc for the same price as it would have cost in store. The only thing I wanted to purchase that I was unable to was soda.

Can you tell me how you placed the order? Was this like a Garden Grocer type thing, or just an online order delivered to your room? Thanks!
