Walk from Country Fair to Melody Hall at ASMu

Does anyone know how far the walk is from the back of the Country Fair building to Meloday Hall at the ASMu?

That will be a long walk. If you look at the hotel map you are all the way in the back. If walking is an issue I would request something closer.

It takes us (no kids along) about 5 minutes. Practically every time we stay at ASMu, they put us in Country Fair. You would almost think we requested it! LOL.

for us it was seven minutes door to door (w/no kids) from melody hall to our room in country fair... i timed it 'cause i was not pleased to be assigned a room there after i had paid for preferred rooms (but was switched after our third night)...

Before I stayed at All-Star Music, I did my research and found that Country Fair was the furthest building, so knowing my luck, I fully expected to get it. And yup, that's what got. Couldn't even beg my way to anything closer.

So it's probably a 6-7 minute walk. When you are walking constantly in the parks, these longer walks in the resort start to take their toll on weary feet. And just getting a quick drink with your refillable mug can become a 20 plus minute event. Ouch!

Two adults, no kids. 5-7 minutes. Seven minutes in the morning when we weren't in a hurry. Five minutes at night when we wanted to get back to the room. It's not at the end of the earth.

we were lucky this past visit - they gave us jazz, which is just past calypso.
That seemed to take me about 5 minutes door to door, so i would imagine that country fair would take a lot longer...

the last time we stayed at ASMu was 12 years ago......during the hurricane that hit at that time, the run to the main building was a bit scary...
i ran along the sides of all the other buildings (not down the center)......
that was to get the kids breakfast in the morning....it took a while....

I stayed in CF. It took about 4 minutes from the room to the bus stop. Its not bad at all. With all the walking you do anyway, the trip back to the room is no big deal.

I am resonably fit, but I am not a fast walker. it took me 6-7 minutes. If I hustled and went straight to the bus stop, only 5. This was from the time we left the 3rd floor room; if you were ground floor, I imagine it woudl take less. It wasn't bad at all.

Hi,

I visited all the Disney resorts in September. I timed the walk from the furthest room I could find at each resort. For ASMusic, the walk from room 5654 in Country Fair was 8 minutes to Melody Hall.

I did not have strollers, kids, cranky husband, etc. but I am just shy of 5' tall and do not walk very fast.
