Our family has only used Mears once, in 12/99, but I am happy to relay our experience. Mears seems to be pretty organized. Once we got our luggage, we went straight to the Mears counter (we had called them ahead, but still needed to pay, etc). We were then instructed outside, to the shuttle area. There were plenty of Mears employees in the loading area, and a couple of vans were waiting. Our tickets were taken, our luggage loaded and were were loaded right onto a shuttle. There were two other couples on our shuttle, and one we waited (maybe 5 minutes) for. Then we were off. We were the only family staying onsite at WDW and we were the last ones off. The other two couples were dropped at offsite resorts that were very close to WDW. I really can't remember how long the whole process took, but it did not seem to take that much time. We thought that the Mears personnel were professional and efficient. On our trip back, we were the only family in our shuttle van. The van arrived on time for our trip back to the airport. We have not used Mears since that trip...not because we were unhappy with our experience, but we discovered that a towncar (for three people) is only slightly more money and really is more convenient. I guess I would recommend contacting Mears before your trip, to let them know when you are arriving. Although you don't need to to that, I think it helps them plan so that vans are available, the transfer goes efficiently, and your wait time is minimized.
