I do hope they bring some more dining. If they are having around 350 new rooms, they will have anywhere from 700+ new guests each night. They need places for them to eat. DTD is not been completed and does not look like it will anytime soon
There’s no room in the new building for a dining establishment to be added later but fixing DTD and opening something in the 55 space will help quite a bit. The rooms will have kitchens or kitchenettes so the guests will not be eating out as much as the other resort guests. And there’s always the dozens of restaurants off property nearby.
It hasn’t changed its look much now that it’s done going vertical and in its cocoon. These are from this month. Some from around Jan 17 taken by a Disboard member Don Macgregor - Then a couple taken by YouTuber "Penny On The DL" from her room about the same time.
Right!? It seems like great timing and an interested / vested audience. And it’s been a while (since D23?) that there’s been even a morsel of new info.
Dont forget Members got to tour the entire new Riviera Resort before Open and got private bus transportation from the Annual Condo Association meeting surprise! It was not announced until end of the meeting that year and was big Surpise for many happy members !
You were definitely right. I was hopeful that they would take advantage of having a concentrated number of DVCers to tell us something about Star View Station or VGH. Live and learn.

Probably nobody present to deliver such a message. It's just normal CMs keeping the park open for DVC folks, plus setting up the special balloons, etc. Prob. few or no DVC-specific employees.
