LEGO unveils the Smart Brick and Smart Play system with new Star Wars sets coming March 2026



The LEGO Group has unveiled its next big bet innovation, the LEGO Smart Play system at CES (Consumer Electronics Show) alongside three new LEGO Star Wars sets coming on 1 March 2026!

LEGO Smart Play is powered by the Smart Brick, and while it looks like any other plastic brick, the Smart Brick is packed with sensors and a processing chip smaller than a single LEGO stud. This new ecosystem introduces three core components: the Smart Brick, the Smart Tag, and the Smart Minifigure.

Alongside the launch, LEGO also unveiled 3 new LEGO Star Wars sets that will spearhead LEGO’s Smart Play ecosystem with sets launching 1 March 2026.


Pre-orders open on 9 January 2026.
