I did that! Twice in one weekend!

I never did it before and I haven't since.

The first time I was at school using the library on a Saturday and when I left the building to head back to my car I couldn't find my keys (until I got to my car!

) It took the
AAA guy about 45 minutes to get there. He played with the lock for about 15 minutes, broke the lock, couldn't unlock it and left!!! He left me there with a, "Sorry, I can't unlock it, I gotta get back to the station."

The security guard at the school called the cops and they had the door open in about 3 minutes.
The next day, Sunday, I went to the supermarket, got out of the car and as the door was shutting, I realized the keys were still in the ignition. Instead of calling AAA again, I called the cops. They had the door open in about 3 minutes.
Don't feel like a dunce glo, lots of us do it. I can't tell you how many batteries I killed by leaving my lights on before they started making "lights on alarms" for cars.
