Oh I do hope those cars are still there this weekend! It's always fun to get a new-to-you car! Congrats!
I called yesterday and talked to the salesman that we talked to on Saturday. He said if we put a deposit down they would hold the cars for us. Luckily I wrote down the stock numbers on them. We are going to go up first thing on Saturday!!!!
I'd say for the costumes, go with simple since it will be so hot. I loved the idea of Charlie being Olaf, but I think he'd melt! You're so clever with your sewing, I know you'll come up with something neat.
I keep thinking of how I can make the Olaf costume out of cotton fabric, but I haven't come up with a solution yet. I agree about it being hot, though the pirate costumes were not too bad last year. I just didn't want to do the same thing this year.
As for AK, I made shirts just with appliquéd Mickey and Minnie heads with safari hats on them. We never got to wear them last trip, so I guess we'll wear them this time around. Since you look so cute in skirts/skorts, why not whip up a little skirt in leopard print or tiger stripes? Charlie could go with a pair of cargo shorts and a shirt with matching print of your skirt. Of course, I'm the one who hasn't planned a thing of what WE are wearing yet.
I love the idea of making an animal print skirt! I'd have to wear shorts under it though since we are doing the Wild Africa Trek that day too. I'll have to think on that one and see what I can come up with. I think I have the Mickey & Minnie Safari patterns and that was my first thought, so we will see.
Have fun with Shannon!
ETA: Way to go on the workouts! I just started back to the gym yesterday morning! Saw a picture of myself at our weekend place and couldn't sleep that night from thinking how awful I looked! I rarely look in a mirror, so it's always such a shock to me. In my head, I'm not this big! You keep up the good work, Tess! Good for you!
