Hi there! Getting ready to head to VWL in a few week :bounce: and wondering about the television situation (I know, shouldn't be in the room watching TV while at WDW!). We have a dedicated 2BR villa, and I'm wondering what size of TV is in the living room? How about the bedrooms?

Also, is there a good location for a 2BR? Any "better" than others, or are they all about the same?

Does the 2nd BR of the dedicated unit have a balcony? Does it have a walk-in closet? Also, are there any units with a balcony off of each room?

Any other suggestions or tips?

Thanks so much! :)

Not sure of the tv size... But will try to answer some of your other questions. We've only stayed there once, last year.

Try to get a unit facing the back. We were on the front side as that was what was available and heard the buses going by when they were running.

Plenty of closet space, walk-in behind the bath in the master bedroom. There were big windows in the master and balconies off the livingroom area and the 2nd bedroom.

Of course we weren't in a dedicated unit (although this would have probably saved us some embarassment when we had a whole team of maintenance men up to get us into part of our locked unit!) , but I imagine most of the things are the same.

We just got back from a dedicated 2 bedroom at VWL about two weeks ago and it was wonderful. We were in room 4512, which faced the front and we never heard the buses running or anything else for that matter. It was a great room, second room from the elevator. I believe the TV's are 19" in all 3 rooms and there are walk in closets in both bedrooms. We had a balcony which was accessible from the living room and the bedroom. The master bedroom did not have a balcony, but it did have vaulted ceilings. Overall the room was great and we would stay in it again. Hope I've been helpful and hope you have a great time!!!:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:

Here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/wildernesslodge.pdf This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

The files are in adobe acrobat and which can be downloaded from this site for free:
