Clearly a defective mirror.....thanks - I appreciate that...however, my mirror begs to differ....![]()
This is interesting since my general reaction/response to this question is that the vloggers I watch regularly are great, respectful, do all they can to minimize including others in their shots so I'm pretty ok with it. That said, I'm sure there are plenty of them I don't know about who may behave differently and then I'd have a different point-of-view about it. Of course that would probably mean they have a much lower viewership, too, so it's a tough call. The only one I have had an issue with (and do not subscribe to) is a live-streamer who intentionally got up close to a wedding party and was filming them and commenting on it all for her live audience. Super intrusive and rude in my opinion and others commented about it as well on her stream. She defended it by saying if they are having a wedding in a park then that comes with the territory. She is obnoxious.
I've met Nate (Paging Mr. Morrow) in the parks and love him. He is super considerate as are the majority of the Disney vloggers I follow. I love getting my Disney fix by watching them after a long day of work.
"Hello Friends"
I'm just wondering how you all feel about the influx of "vloggers" lately in the parks and restaurants. Do you mind being captured in their videos? Does it disturb your dining? Just curious.....
I'm a vlogger in another niche and I do food reviews. It's easy to film a video and not be any louder than normal table conversation. Trust me my wife is so shy is she thought I was causing a scene she would leave ASAP!! I do get some stares, but I think it's mainly because I'm talking to a camera as I eat.
While I enjoy watching Disney Vloggers, if I were a "normal" once in a lifetime guest with no idea of the Disney Sub Culture and saw someone holding up walkways and lines filming I would be super annoyed. Even as a Disney enthusiast if I had someone live streaming me in line like someone here mentioned I would have a big problem with that. Being in a random background shot no big deal though.
Out of all my days in the parks, I've only seen 3 Vloggers, 2 I hardly watch and none of them were filming. I saw someone from Touring Plans in World Showcase, I saw Deni in the Land Pavilion right after she started with The DIS. At the time we didn't know much about her so didn't introduce ourselves, but now she has become one of our favorites and we wish we would have. On our last trip we saw JoJo entering Hollywood Studios, but we had just seen 1 or 2 of his videos before.
We don't watch The Trackers much anymore because their overall lack of Disney Knowledge drives me crazy. What sucks is we found them as Disney Newbies and looked to them for guidance. We didn't know any better until after our trip.
The best way I've heard the Trackers described is a family vlog channel who happens to live in Orlando. I love their videos, but I don't watch them for Disney news, just the entertainment.
Loud is also relative. Keep in mind that most of the experienced vloggers have a microphone very close to their mouth. Sound would be poor otherwise, especially with wind and rain.Actually Nate is pretty respectful in quieter restaurants. He seems to be aware of other guests experiences. He may be louder in the park but I would expect that.
I don't expect church whispers in loud bars or during large media events.
Time and place.
Same. I was watching Molly from Allears on my lunch break today and laughing at her antics. But even more importantly, she gave a lot of interesting facts and tidbits while doing a scavenger hunt of sorts around Fantasyland. I learn a lot from some of the vloggers.I think people way overthink vloggers. Does it matter if they were gifted something by a park or that they (God forbid) make money off their vlog? I just watch them because I enjoy seeing Disney when I can't be there. Makes me happy.

Would it impact your dining experience, especially if your alone with your partner enjoying a "quiet" dinner (a break from the parks and youngsters' meltdowns we ALL need during a Disney trip) together and listening to a play-by-play about the bread service, beer, appetizer....how to EAT the appetizer, etc......?? Thanks for sharing!
On the 1st or 2nd night of the return of the Epcot fireworks, he specifically tucked his camera up out of the way of anyone. He perched it on some rocks above the heads of the entire crowd, so as not to bother anyone with it, which I thought was really nice of him. (It may not have been technically allowed, LOL, but it was nice!Lee ran into Paging Mr Morrow (Nat) three times this trip. Twice At Epcot, where he was reviewing something while tucked in a corner not disturbing anyone.
This has absolutely nothing to do with vlogging. Yes, loud drunks are annoying. And it’s made worse because most people THINK they are not loud and annoying when drunk, but in reality they are. Those of you who know them also know that Nate has a loud (infectious) laugh.
