Vistana Resort or Villages or Orange Lake

Trying to decide on a nice 2 bedroom resort for our end of August
trip. We have 2 kids 5 + 14 and will be doing the parks but not everyday. What is the difference between the two Vistanas? How far is Orange Lake and which did you like best? Thanks, Alison

I have stayed at Vistana Villages and Orange Lake. If it were me.. I 'd choose Vistana Villages. It's a little closer to the outlet mall that I like.. ( think Disney Outlet) and It's got a much more "luxury" feel. Orange Lake, on the other hand.. has excellent golf.. 3 pools and restaurants on site. Orange Lake is much larger and older... and you have a good chance of getting an older unit. Although they are kept in good repair and are very nice.. I'd just choose Vistana villages if I had a choice!

We've stayed at Vistana Resort and Orange Lake. We loved both, but I would chose Vistana Resort again over the two. We were in the Tennis Villas at Orange Lake and they were new and incredible, but we toured the older units and they were nice and clean, but not as plush. We were in the Springs section at Vistana Resort and while it's older it was incredible and obviously updated regularly. We felt the drive from Vistana was a little easier too. You can't go wrong with any of your choices I don't think. Have a great time.

I can't help you with your other choices, all I can say is I LOVE Vistana Resort. 7 pools 4 restaurants Miniature Golf.. My kids just LOVE Vistana also They are 7 and 11.

I have stayed at Vistana Resort and the Villages. I would choose the Resort over the Villages in a heartbeat. The Villages were nice, very pretty etc, but there is so much more to do at the Resort especially for the ages of your kids. I also like the location of the Resort better--it's just that much closer to the parks and everything in Buena Vista as far as restaurants etc go. I don't think you'll be disapointed no matter what you choose, but in my opinion, Vistana Resort will blow your kids away.
