We have zero choice. We will be in Orlando with our 5 year old twins and we ant to take them to WDW for the first time. We will actually be in Orlando 18-28 but plan to visit Disney HOPEFULLY before the crazy crowds begin. I am concerned the crowds will already be in place by the 18th.
Our strategy..
We are driving from Fort Lauderdale after we disembark form a cruise on the 18th. We will rent a car and drive to Orlando in hopes that our twins will nap.
We will arrive at the Swan and ck in by 3. Attend the last day of the Mickey Christmas Party (18th) by 4pm, eating in the park. We will ride popular rides by 7pm and pray the wait times are significantly less than day hours. We will try and keep our twins awake past 10pm.
We were thinking about not doing MK the 19th (a Saturday ) due to crowds. We thought maybe Monday or Tues would be better for MK. The other option... cut our trip short to WDW and stay 3 days 18-20. Mickey Christmas Party on 18th, AK on the 19th, MK again on the 20th . OR we could visit Universal with the kids instead and plan another WDW trip in future when its not so crowded. Please Help! I have seen on Youtube the crowds and read a few blogs. I unfortunately can't find much info about the 5 days before Christmas.
