Spend 15 minutes lining up the "play", flick the switch, then watch your running back run around in circles instead of heading upfield :teeth:
Never had the patience to use it correctly. And the dog didn't appreciate me stimulating her Milk Bones on it either. pirate:

My favorite doll was my Baby Beth, how I wanted her and loved her when I got her for my birthday. Other favorites were my Strawberry Shortcake Collection & Doll House, that my DD now plays with when she goes to Grandma's. My Brothers toys that I could play with were their Star Wars Toys, He-Men & Big Wheels, until we wore out the wheels! I love this thread!

I actually singed more than my Joe's head. I accidently melted half his face with a "mortar" and blew off one of his hands.

My son has tons of GI Joe stuff - do you know they sell replacement body parts for him now? Every so often I have to go get a new package of hands...very weird :rotfl:

Oh my God! Remember how you used to WACK the crap out of your wrists when you first tried to use them? But yet, you'd try and try again. And you never failed to injure yourself or someone nearby. I loved those things!

Nowadays, the clackers are for wusses. Instead of string, the balls are on plastic sticks that wack back and forth. No fun without the bruising and pain. Now THAT made it a challenge!

My favorite was a Corgi Chitty Chitty Bang Bang car. Plus, my set of Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars. And that orange track thing you'd clip to a bookshelf or windowsill. Fun stuff!

Just for you - :teeth:

Transparant, oh my God! Clackers! DUCK!

Who remembers Don't Break the Ice, Kooties, Ants in the Pants and Gnip Gnop (yes, I didn't realize it was ping pong spelled backwards until someone pointed it out... when I was in college).

Here's a whole bunch of good ones -

I have no idea why I loved this thing too!

I could sit for hours playing with this!

And here's a link to old pictures of kids playing with their toys - I LOVE these pics! (they are also put to the tune of "Zip a dee do dah" :teeth: )

wvrevy -- I used to play that CONSTANTLY!!! I loved that game!!! I had a group that formed a league when I was a kid and we played 100's of games one summer!!

Sit n' Spin was always my favourite :teeth: Big Wheels were a close second!

Then there were Strawberry Shortcake, Hello Kitty, My Little Pony, He-Man, Transformers, The Cabbage Patch Kids and their counterparts the Garbage Pail Kids :rotfl:

My dad's old Lincoln logs and Tinker Toys from the 50's were a big hit with me and my brotehr when visiting Grandma and Grandpa.

Now these would be considered a choking hazard... I loved my 'peoples'....

And the ballerina's name was "Dancerina", if I remember correctly.

Rick- thanks for the gnip/gnop trivia.... 37 years, and I never realized that!!! I was just trying to explain the game to my kids yesterday.

I think it was called "my ballerina."

She was dressed in all hot pink and had blonde hair and blue eyes. If you lifted her crown, she spun around.

I never should have thrown her out, I miss her till this day.

Only toy I connected to.

Dancerina! I had the one with brown hair. You can still find them n Ebay. I've been begging DH to buy me one for 2 years but it needs to be in good shape.

Oh my God, I'm not the only one to not put two and two together. LOL!

We jsut found this toy at Tims Dad's house. Didn't check to see if it still worked though.

I loved playing with Fisher price toys. Spent days with them.

Who can forget about the bouncy horses pictured here? I loved those things, but never had one.

Me and my brother still have our electronic football set, and a bunch of teams that we ordered. He really loved that thing, I thought it was BORING!
