Villas in Spain or France?

Hello my friends across the pond!!!
Can anyone help me with villa rentals and areas to stay that are nice, safe and friendly? We are looking at the first 2 wks in October 2004.
I don't know France at all, can someone tell me if I want to rent a villa close to Disneyland Paris, where would I stay?
What parts of Spain do you all recommend?
What airlines should I check out from London to Paris or anywhere in Spain?
Any and all help is appreciated.

Marriott have just opened a vacation resort at Disneyland Paris. I've not stayed there, but it does seem to be in a great location just a few minutes from DLP. I think one and two bedroom villas are available.

Personally we prefer Portugal to Spain as a holiday destination - but I guess it depends what you are looking for. We love the Portuguese Algarve coast. If you are interested, I can get you more details.

Is it worth the expense of a villa in France/Spain when the summer will be over? Not sure how warm those countires will be at the beginning of October but I doubt warm enough for outdoor swimming,they usually don't have pool heat either.

Not sure though if it was a villa in the Orlando sense of villa that you mean, with a pool etc.?

This is a delightful, quiet, friendly village on the Portuguese Algarve. Never been there in October though. You may want to check whether the temperatures are what you are looking for.

and recommend them highly.

The area is great for golfers!

We are also big fans of Portugal and are looking for a villa there to purchase at the moment. Our favourite area is Quinta do Lago -situated within an easy 30 minute drive of Faro airport on 2,000 acres of pine forest, national park and golf courses beside the ocean. It has the most wonderful soft sand beach (reached over a huge long wooden bridge over natural park land and rivers). There is a limited amount of information at www.quintadolago.com and various companies offer villa rentals here.
