We have a month before our 3rd child is due so we needed to get a mini van. We have been looking for a while and hadn't found anything that really fit what we were looking for until yesterday. We have a friend that works for the dealer who saw this on the lot and had it put on hold for us. It's a used 2008 Toyota Sienna, but it was in really good condition with under 40,000 miles and we got a great deal for it.

Here are some pictures:

Well, with your wife due 6/8, it looks like you made a good choice. :goodvibes

Very true. Atleast we will have more car space then we did. I get her four door car and we traded in my two door sports car at the dealer. Can't say I will miss that car in the winter.

Yeah, but you might miss that sports car later in life. ;)

I still have my 2 seater, 25 years old 'n still in great shape, better shape than me on some days!! :lmao:

No chance. I usually go through 2 tires a winter because of the bad pot holes we have around here. I actually had to put on 4 new ones on 3 months ago because of the ware and tare on them during winter time. Our roads aren't very sports car friendly during the winter time.

Oh heck, reminds me of the time I ripped out my muffler out here on my own property, but you don't need that sports car durin' this time of your life. :lmao:

Congrats on the new car 'n that new baby comin'. :goodvibes

I LOVE minivans! I bought a dodge caravan love it! Do some research on the car you are buying that's my advice. Some cars have known problems with them.

Oh trust me we did. We have been looking off and on for almost a year before we bought this one.

Congratulations on the baby and the mini van! They are so great with little ones. When my kids were little, i loved having one.

Our 3 year old already loves it and I don't know what would have made for a better Mothers Day gift.

My kids loved it too! Y'all's is so much nicer with sliding doors on both sides. We had ours in the old days-early 90s. The mini vans were great but nothing like the mini vans today.

The sliding doors were a must as it will help my wife out a ton when she has to go out with the kids while I'm at work. Our 3 year old will beable to jump in the van herself while my wife gets the other kids in the car.

Also, with being able to stow the split 3rd row, no more having to rent a van if we have to pick up baby furniture and stuff like that.

IT's so nice and clean. I'm jealous.;)

Looks like a pretty ride! Do you have the roll down windows in the sliders? Love those!

I don't believe those windows slide down, but I could be wrong. The important thing to me was that my wife loves it which is very important since it was pretty much for her.

I gave up my 2 seater 15 years ago (stick shift, red, sun roof, pop up headlights), and have been driving a minivan ever since. I am long away from being excited over a minivan!

Congratulations on your purchase!!!:cool1:

I am a mini-van Momma and I'm not afraid to admit it. Love my Sienna now and I loved my Odyssey before it. It's very practical for our family's needs and I have no need to drive an SUV because some others don't think vans are cool enough for them.

So there!:thumbsup2

I agree. I myself have no issues driving a mini van, because you know what, it makes mine and my wife's lives much much easier. No more lifting the double stroller into a cars trunk, no more having to make multiple trips and no more having to look for a new car.

Congrats!! It looks identical to mine, only mine doesn't have leather. I love my van too!! (Never thought I'd say that).

FWIW, the windows in my sliding doors roll down halfway.

Maybe they do slide down some then. Never thought to ask.
